ABSTRACT
The study, titled " Project Based Learning Model in Learning Dance Class X SMA Negeri 2
Cimahi" . The problem in this study is the lack of creativity in learning the art of dance based
learning model is applied . Affected by the researchers concluded that these three problems ,
planning and learning the art of dance , learning the art of dance and the art of dance . The
purpose of this study is to describe the planning , process, and outcomes dance class X SMA
Negeri 2 Cimahi through project -based learning model . This study used a descriptive
analysis using a qualitative approach . The population used in this study were all students of
class X science 5 SMA Negeri 2 Cimahi, the number of samples taken is 20 persons. The
data were collected through interviews, observation and study as the instrument to collect
data. The results were obtained in three meetings that teachers can implement project -based
learning model in teaching dance classes at SMAN 2 Cimahi, it can be seen from the state
student assessment of students got an A by 60 % , and students who receive a grade of B of
40 % . From the results of the research in the field , the conclusion of the process of learning
the art of dance and the art of dance through the stages of project based learning model that is
project based learning model has been successfully applied in the study of the art of dance
class X.

penelitian ini yaitu kurangnya kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari sesuai model
pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan judul tersebut peneliti merumuskan tiga masalah
yaitu, perencanaan pembelajaran seni tari, proses pembelajaran seni tari dan hasil
pembelajaran seni tari.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan,
proses, dan hasil pembelajaran seni tari kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Cimahi melalui model
project
based
learning.
Penelitianinimenggunakanmetodedeskriptifanalisisdenganmenggunakanpendekatankualitatif.
Populasi yang digunakandalampenelitianiniadalahseluruhsiswakelas X IPA 5 SMA Negeri 2
Cimahi, maka jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 20 orang.Pengumpulan data dilakukan
denganteknikwawancara, observasidanstudipustakasebagai instrument untukmengumpulkan
data.Hasil penelitian diperoleh tiga kali pertemuan yaitu guru dapat menerapkan model
project based learning dalam pembelajaran seni tari kelas di SMA Negeri 2 Cimahi, hal
tersebut dapat dilihat dari penilaian siswa yang menyatakan siswa yang mendapat nilai A
sebanyak 60% dan siswa yang mendapat nilai B sebanyak 40%. Dari hasilpenelitian

dilapanganmakadiperolehkesimpulan mengenaiproses pembelajaran seni tari dan hasil
pembelajaran seni tari melalui tahapan dari model project based learning yaitu model project
based learning berhasil diterapkan dalam pembelajaran seni tari kelas X.
