ABSTRAK
MARIANA HUTASOIT: Ekplorasi Tumbuhan Hias pada Kawasan Hutan
Lindung Simandar Kabupaten Dairi. Dibimbing oleh YUNUS AFIFUDDIN dan
IRAWATI AZHAR.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan hias,
menganalisis keanekaragaman tumbuhan hias dan mengetahui harga pasar
tumbuhan hias. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan Hutan Lindung Simandar
Dairi pada Juli sampai Oktober 2016. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis
vegetasi tumbuhan hias dengan menggunakan plot sampling sistematis dengan
ukuran 20 m x 20 m. Informasi harga pasar tumbuhan hias diketahui melalui
wawancara dengan beberapa usaha dagang tanaman hias. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 8 jenis tumbuhan hias. Jenis tumbuhan hias dengan
nilai kerapatan tertinggi adalah tumbuhan Pacar air (Impatiens balsamina) dengan
nilai 42,90 per hektar dan nilai kerapatan terendah adalah tumbuhan Anggrek
Tubi-tubi manuk (Bulbophyllum lobii) dengan nilai 1,08 per hektar. Nilai
frekuensi tertinggi adalah tumbuhan Kadaka dengan nilai 0,23 dan nilai frekuensi
terendah adalah tumbuhan Anggrek Tubi-tubi manuk (Bulbophyllum lobii) dengan
nilai 0,03. Harga tumbuhan hias tertinggi adalah tumbuhan Pakis Haji dengan
harga Rp. 311.500 dan harga tumbuhan hias terendah adalah tumbuhan Pacar Air
(Impatiens balsamina) dengan harga Rp. 4.300.

This study aims to identify the types of ornamental plants, analyze the
diversity of ornamental plants and know the market price of ornamental plants.
This research was conducted in Simandar Dairi Protected Forest area from July
to October 2016. The method used is vegetation analysis of ornamental plants
using systematic sampling plot with size 20 m x 20 m. Information on the market
price of ornamental plants is known through interviews with some ornamental
plants business. The results showed that there are 8 types of ornamental plants.
The type of ornamental plant with the highest density value is Pacar air
(Impatiens balsamina) with 42,90 per hectare and lowest density is Anggrek
Tubi-tubi manuk (Bulbophyllum lobii) with value 1.08 per hectare. The highest
frequency value is Kadaka plant with a value of 0.23 and the lowest frequency
value is Anggrek Tubi-tubi plants (Bulbophyllum ruangi) with a value of 0.03. The
highest price of ornamental plants is Pakis Haji plant with the price of Rp.
