KEANEKARAGAMAN FITOPLANKTON DI PERAIRAN DANAU TOBA
DESA SILALAHI KABUPATEN DAIRI

ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian yang berjudul “Keanekaragaman Fitoplankton di
Perairan Danau Toba Desa Silalahi Kabupaten Dairi Sumatera Utara pada bulan
Maret sampai April 2015. Sampel diambil dari empat stasiun pengamatan, dan
pada setiap stasiun pengamatan dilakukan 3 kali ulangan. Titik pengambilan
sampel ditentukan menggunakan Metode Purposive Random Sampling. Dari hasil
penelitian didapatkan sebanyak 4 kelas fitoplankton yaitu Bacillariophyceae,
Chlorophyceae, Coscinodiscophyceae, Cyanophyceae. Nilai total kelimpahan
plankton tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 4 sebesar 339,625 Ind/l dan nilai total
kelimpahan plankton terendah terdapat pada stasiun 1 sebesar 219,000 Ind/l. Nilai
indeks keanekaragaman (H') tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 2 sebesar 2,8 dan
terendah pada stasiun 1 sebesar 2,61. Nilai indeks keseragaman (E) tertinggi pada
stasiun 2 sebesar 0,86 dan terendah pada stasiun 1 sebesar 0,79. Analisis korelasi
Pearson menunjukkan suhu berhubungan kuat dengan indeks keanekaragaman
(H’) fitoplankton.

DIVERSITY FYTOPLANKTON IN LAKE TOBA SILALAHI OF
DISTRICT DAIRI

ABSTRACT
Diversity of Fytolankton in the Lake Toba Silalahi, Dairi of North Sumatera has
been studied from March to April 2015. The samples were taken from four
observation stations and at every station observations were with 3 repetitions.
Sampling point was determined using Purposive Random Sampling method. From
the results, four phytoplankton classes of Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae,
Coscinodiscophyceae and Cyanophyceae. The highest total value abudance of
plankton was found at station 4 (339,625 ind/l) and the lowest total value was
found at station 1 (219,000 ind/l). The value of diversity index (H ') was the
highest in station 2 (2,8) and the lowest at station 1 (2.61). The highest index
similarity (E) was found in station 2 (0,86) and the lowest was in station 1 (0,79).
Pearson correlation analysis showed a very strong suhu associated with diversity
index (H ') of fitoplankton.
