ABSTRAK
“Hubungan Antara Penyampaian Informasi Kasus Pencurian Senjata
PT PINDAD (Persero) Dengan Sikap Wartawan Terhadap Perusahaan”.
Utari Faude Ramadani, 210110080222, mahasiswi Ilmu Hubungan Masyarakat,
Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran pada tahun 2013. Dosen
Pembimbing Utama Dr. Susanne Dida, M.M. Dosen Pembimbing Pendamping
Trie Damayanti, S.Sos.,M.Si.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penyampaian
informasi mengenai kasus pencurian senjata PT PINDAD (Persero) dengan sikap
wartawan terhadap perusahaan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
Teori Pertimbangan Sosial.
Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah wartawan yang meliput kasus
pencurian senjata PT PINDAD (Persero) yang dipilih dengan teknik acak
sederhana. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan teknik korelasi
menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji hipotesis
Rank Spearman. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara,
dan studi kepustakaan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang rendah
antara penyampaian informasi kasus pencurian senjata PT PINDAD (Persero)
dengan sikap wartawan terhadap perusahaan. Analisis membuktikan bahwa
penyampaian informasi kasus pencurian senjata PT PINDAD (Persero)
berkorelasi rendah dengan sikap wartawan terhadap perusahaan.
Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan antara penyampaian
informasi kasus pencurian senjata PT PINDAD (Persero) dengan sikap wartawan
terhadap perusahaan. Artinya, jika penyampaian informasi berlangsung dengan
baik, maka sikap wartawan terhadap perusahaan dapat ditingkatkan.

“The Correlations Between The Submission of PT PINDAD (Persero)
Firearm Theft Information With Journalist’s Attitudes Towards Corporate.”

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship
between the submission of information about firearm theft with the attitudes of
journalist towards PT.Pindad (Persero). The theory used in this study is Social
Judgments Theory.
The sample of this research was journalists who interviewed the case of
firearm theft chosen by random-sampling technique. The method used was survey
method with correlation with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis in the
form of calculating Spearman Rank Order Correlation, which is used to calculate
the ordinal scale.
The result of this research showed that there is a low correlations between
the submission of the information about firearm theft with journalist’s attitude
towards PT PINDAD (Persero). The Analysis proved that there is low but
significant correlations between the submission of the information about firearm
theft with journalist’s attitude towards PT PINDAD (Persero).
The conclusion of this research is that there is a correlations between the
submission of the informations about firearm theft with journalist’s attitude
towards PT PINDAD (Persero). Which means, the better submission of
information, the better attitude of journalists can be obtained.
