I N ST ALLAT I ON

  This appliance can be installed in ducted or recirculation mode.

Mounting to the ceiling (Fig. 6) Step A:

  Ducted mode (Fig. 4)

• In ducted mode, the extractor hood fan extracts the cooking vapours and passes them through the grease filter. The air then flows to the outside.
• Mark the center point of the extractor hood on the ceiling. For ducting connection, cut a Ø170mm hole in the ceiling.
• The grease filter absorbs the solid particles in the cooking vapors.
• Using the mounting support frame as template, mark 4 (four) holes on the ceiling. Secure mounting support frame to ceiling using 4(four) M4 X 50 screws provided.
• In recirculation mode, the extractor hood fan extracts the cooking vapors which are purified in the grease filter and charcoal filter.
• The purified air is then recirculated into the kitchen via a vent opening in the hood. The grease filter absorbs the solid particles in the cooking vapors.
• The charcoal filter is designed to absorb cooking odor. In this mode, both grease filters and charcoal filters are installed.

• Insert inner duct cover from below and secure to the mounting support frame using 4 (four) ST4.2 X 15 screws provided.
• Insert outer duct cover from below.

Step C:

• Insert the hood body from below into the chimney support frame. Adjust to desired height. (Note: Do not trap the power cord).
• For ducting mode: Fix duct pipe to the motor housing. For the most efficient air flow exhaust, use the shortest and straightest duct route possible.

  Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for improper installation and does not accept responsibility for appliance warranty in the event of damage caused by incorrect installation.

  The extractor hood is designed for installation on the kitchen ceiling or on a rigid suspended ceiling.

• Push down outer duct cover & rest it on glass.
• Ensure that the ceiling is level and able to withstand the appliance’s weight.
• Before drilling holes, check for concealed electrical cables and other lines.
• Check that the depth of the drilled holes corresponds with the length of the screws.

• We recommend you to measure the total height of the appliance before installation. The total height is measured from the height of the ceiling, the height of the bench top and the minimum installation distance between the hob and the extractor hood. See “Safety Warnings”.

  We recommend you to switch on the appliance a few minutes before cooking for better air extraction. Leave it on for approximately 15 minutes after cooking or till cooking smell is completely removed. This appliance is equipped with auto ventilation mode. The fan is activated automatically at periodic interval to purify the air.

Switch control

• Press LIGHT button to turn on the LED lights (indicator lights up). Press again to turn off (indicator goes off).
• To activate colorful LED lights, press and hold LIGHT button (indicator flashes). Each press activates colour change (colour sequence: red, blue, green, multi-colour).

• To deactivate, press LIGHT button again (indicator flashes). Press and hold LIGHT button. Press again to turn off lighting system fully.
• Press button again to turn off (indicator goes off). Medium speed

  Low speed • Press button to select low speed (indicator lights up).

• Press button to select medium speed (indicator lights up).
• Press button again to turn off (indicator goes off). High speed • Press button to select high speed (indicator lights up).
• Press button again to turn off (indicator goes off).

Delay stop timer mode

• Press DELAY STOP TIMER button during fan operation (indicator lights up). The fan runs on at the selected speed for 15 minutes. After this period, the fan stops operation automatically.
• To deactivate, press DELAY STOP TIMER button again (indicator goes off).

Auto ventilation mode

• Activate this mode when the fan is not in operation. Press and hold DELAY STOP TIMER button (indicator flashes).
• Select the auto-ventilation interval using the speed button:-

  LOW SPEED: activates the fan for 5 minutes ventilation every hour interval _o Press LOW SPEED button to activate. _o Press DELAY STOP TIMER button to confirm (fan speed indicator flashes) MEDIUM SPEED: activates the fan for 10 minutes ventilation every hour interval. _o Press MEDIUM SPEED button to activate. _o Press DELAY STOP TIMER button to confirm (fan speed indicator flashes)

  HIGH SPEED: activates the fan for 15 mintues ventilation every hour interval _o Press HIGH SPEED button to activate. _o Press DELAY STOP TIMER button to confirm (fan speed indicator flashes) • To deactivate, press and hold DELAY STOP TIMER button (indicator flashes).

M AI N T EN AN CE AN D CARE

• The charcoal filters should be replaced when it is noticeably dirty or discolored, usually after 6 to 12 months depending on the conditions of use.
• These filters are not washable and cannot be restored. To ensure that this appliance functions effectively, regular maintenance is necessary as clogged filters restrict airflow and may cause the motor to overheat.

• Grease filters are used to absorb the grease particles formed during cooking process. The filters must be removed and cleaned every 4 weeks, depending on frequency of usage. Clean the filter either by hand or in the dishwasher. Note: Take care not to bend the filters during washing.
• Remove the saturated charcoal filter sheet from the grease filter. Fit in the new charcoal filter in the slot accordingly.

• If by hand washing, soak the filters in warm detergent solution to simplify the removal of grease. Brush the filters, rinse thoroughly and leave it to dry before refitting.
• If by dishwasher, select an appropriate wash program. Leave it to dry before refitting. Note: slight discoloration of the filter may occur.
• Removing and inserting the grease filters: _o To remove, unscrew the centre screw. _o
• Clean the extractor hood using warm detergent solution and a soft damp cloth. Wipe dry with a lint- free cloth.
• Avoid using corrosive or abrasive products that could damage the surface.

  To refit, slot the filter into position and tighten screw.

  Chacoal filter sheet (where applicable for recirculation mode)

  Warning: Do not attempt to make replacement by a non-qualfied technician.

  Please check with your local Rinnai Customer Care Centre for assistance.

  Disconnect the power supply cord before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance activities. It is important to clean and/or replace the filters at appropriate intervals as grease deposits build-up increases the risk of fire. Do not operate the extractor hood without grease filter.

  For spare parts purchase, please contact your local Rinnai Customer Care Centre. You are strongly recommended to follow these safety instructions. The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages to the appliance or any fire hazard due to failure to observe the above safety recommendations.

Membuka kemasan

Untuk pengguna

• Jangan gunakan tudung hisap ini jika terdapat tanda kerusakan akibat pengangkutan.
• Jika kabel listrik rusak, harus diganti oleh pihak perusahaan atau pabrik, agen servis atau teknisi yang berpengalaman untuk mencegah pengguna dari bahaya.
• Tudung hisap didesain untuk penggunaan rumah tangga untuk mengurangi bau tidak sedap dari dapur. Jangan gunakan tudung hisap untuk tujuan yang tidak semestinya.
• Jangan biarkan anak kecil mengoperasikan tudung hisap ini. Awasi penggunaan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua atau orang sakit.
• Pastikan bahwa anak kecil tidak bermain dengan bekas kemasan plastik ini.
• Pemasangan dan perbaikan harus dilakukan oleh teknisi yang berpengalaman.

Untuk pemasang

• Sangat berbahaya untuk memodifikasi bagian dari tudung hisap ini. Merusak sambungan listrik atau bagian mekanik bisa menyebabkan kesalahan penggunaan dan mungkin menyebabkan pengguna dalam bahaya.
• Jangan pernah biarkan api naik langsung di bawah tudung hisap. Selalu tutupi dengan peralatan memasak.
• Tudung hisap bisa dipasang di atas kompor gas dan juga kompor listrik. Batas jarak tinggi minimum pemasangan dari atas kompor ke bagian bawah tudung hisap untuk kompor gas adalah 700mm dan 550mm untuk kompor listrik. (Gbr.1)
• Selalu pasang tudung hisap tepat berada di atas kompor.

• Jangan memasak atau memanggang dengan api

  Kami sarankan Anda untuk menyalakan tudung ini selama beberapa menit sebelum memasak untuk ekstraksi udara yang lebih baik. Biarkan kira-kira 15 menit setelah memasak atau sampai bau masakan benar-benar hilang. Tudung hisap ini dilengkapi dengan mode ventilasi otomatis. Kipas secara otomatis aktif pada periodik waktu tertentu untuk memurnikan udara.

Tombol pengaturan

• Tekan tombol LAMPU untuk menyalakan lampu LED (lampu indikator menyala). Tekan lagi untuk memadamkan lampu (lampu indikator padam).
• Untuk mengaktifkan lampu LED berwarna-warni, tekan dan tahan tombol LAMPU (indikator berkedip). Tiap penekanan menyebabkan perubahan warna (urutan warna: merah, biru, hijau,
