Pembuatan Karbon Aktif dari Kulit Salak (Salacca edulis) dengan Impregnasi Asam Fosfat (H3PO4)

  suhu 450 °C dengan konsentrasi 10% dengan pirolisis selama 1 jam, pada suhu 500 °C dengan konsentrasi 15, 20% pada suhu 500 °C dengan konsentrasi 15, 20% pada pirolisis selama 2 jam, suhu 500-600 °C dengan konsentrasi 10 dan 15%, suhu 450-600 °C pada konsentrasi 20% selama 3 jam menghasilkan bilangan iodin yang sesuai dengan SNI. Bilangan iodin tertinggi yaitu 888,30 mg/g pada suhu 600 °C pada konsentrasi 20% dengan waktu pirolisis 3 jam. Dalam penelitian ini belum mencapai kondisi optimum.

  3. Luas permukaan karbon aktif yang diperoleh dari hasil penelitian ini mengalami fluktuatif pada semua variabel. Namun, hasil yang diperoleh telah sesuai dengan luas permukaan standar kabon aktif. Luas permukaan optimum dari karbon aktif yaitu 6140,065m

  /gberada pada suhu suhu 450 °C dengan konsentrasi 15% selama 2 jam.

5.2 SARAN

  Adapun saran yang dapat di ambil dari penelitian yang telah di lakukan adalah:

1. Perludilakukanproses penyerapan pada logam misalnya Cr 2.

  Perlu dilakukan karakterisasi adsorben dengan menggunakan SEM, TGA, dan lain-lain untuk menambah informasi tentang karakteristik adsorben.
