ABSTRAK

Skripsi ini berjudul Grammatical Mastery In Learning Passive Voice For The Third
Year Students In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang. Adapun tujuan penelitian
adalah : (1) Untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menguasai stuktur bahasa,
,(2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan antara grammar dan pembelajaran
passive voice. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tiga Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas
3 Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang, jumlah keseluruhan populasi adalah 118
siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini hanya 60 siswa dari 118 siswa kelas 3 Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang. Dalam pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan Pre
Test, Post test dan penilaian grammar. Penulis memperoleh penilaian grammar
melalui guru yang mengajar di sekolah tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis
memperoleh data bahwa 76,7% siswa menguasai grammar dipembelajaran passive
voice. Dan penulis juga memperoleh data melalui metode Pearson Product Moment
jika hubungan kedua variabel tersebut saling berhubungan dan memiliki hasil yang
tinggi yaitu 1,4.

ABSTRACT

This thesis entitled Grammatical Mastery In Learning Passive Voice For The Third
Year Students In Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang. The purpose of the
research are: (1) To find out the ability of students in mastering the grammatical, (2)
How about the relationship between grammar and passive voice learning. Subject of
this research is third grade of State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Besitang. The population
in this study is all students of the third year Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang,
the total population is 118 students. The sample in this study is only 60 students from
118 students of third year Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Besitang. In data collection,
the author uses Pre Test, Post test and grammar assessment. The authors obtained
grammar assessments through teachers teaching at the school. In this study, the
authors obtained data that 76.7% of students master grammar in passive voice
learning. And the authors also obtained data through the Pearson Product Moment
method if the relationship between these two variables are related and have a high
result that is 1.4.
