Evaluasi Penggunaan Lahan (Land Use) Di Kecamatan Singkohor Kabupaten Aceh Singkil Tahun 2015
ABSTRACT
CHANDRA P. SIMAMORA: Evaluation of Land Use (Land Use) in Singkohor
Sub District of Aceh Singkil District 2015. Guided by AFIFUDDIN
DALIMUNTHE and BUDI UTOMO.
This study aimed to analyze land cover in the District Singkohor and know
the function of other land uses contained in Singkohor District 2015. This
research is located in Singkohor Sub District,of Aceh Singkil District by using
satellite images of landsat 8. The research method was a supervised classification.
Analysis of the data for the image interpretation by using monogram of Sumatera.
The results showed that land cover in the District Singkohor include
forests, plantations, open land, settlements, water bodies, bush, and farm. The
largest land use at the location of the research is the type of open land area of
5491.57 Ha and forest area of 4046.67 Ha are expected to be on the wane due to
the conversion of land use into other uses such as plantations. In addition, 15
species of plants obtained MPTS (Multi Purpose Tree Species) among the sites
that have the advantage among others, have been tested and able to adapt to the
environment so that these types of plants are more prospective MPTS in
rehabilitation activities.

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tutupan lahan di Kecamatan
Singkohor dan mengetahui fungsi penggunaan lahan lain yang terdapat di
Kecamatan Singkohor pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Kecamatan
Singkohor, Kabupaten Aceh Singkil dengan menggunakan citra satelit landsat
8.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah klasifikasi terbimbing. Analisis data
untuk interpretasi citra menggunakan monogram Sumatera.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tutupan lahan yang ada di Kecamatan
Singkohor antara lain kawasan hutan, perkebunan, lahan terbuka, pemukiman,
badan air, semak belukar, dan sawah. Penggunaan lahan yang terbesar pada lokasi
penelitian adalah tipe lahan terbuka seluas 5.491,57 Ha dan luas kawasan hutan
sebesar 4.046,67 Ha yang diperkirakan akan semakin berkurang dikarenakan
konversi penggunaan lahan menjadi penggunaan lain seperti perkebunan. Selain
itu, didapat 15 jenis tanaman MPTS (Multi Purpose Tree Species) pada lokasi
penelitian yang memiliki keunggulan antara lain telah teruji dan mampu
beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sehingga jenis tanaman MPTS tersebut lebih
prospektif dalam kegiatan rehabilitasi lahan.
