Oracle has agreed to acquire Convergin, a provider of real-time service brokering solutions.

Convergin’s Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)–based service broker platform enables communications service providers to manage services for a wide range of networks and application plat- forms, including prepaid charging. The solution enables service providers to focus on launching new services while moving to next-generation networks.
