KEPEKAAN ESCHERICHIA COLI UROPATOGENIK TERHADAP
ANTIBIOTIK PADA PASIEN INFEKSI SALURAN KEMIH DI RSU Dr.

Saiful Anwar Malang periode Januari – Desember 2008.
kuman Escherichia coli uropatogenik RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang periode Januari –
selama periode Januari – Desember 2008 sebanyak 347 kasus. Infeksi saluran kemih banyak

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is a general term to state that there is a bacteria growth in urinary
tract, including infection in kidney parenchyma to infection inside bladder. Escherichia coli is
the most responsible for both symptomatic and asymptomatic ISK, that is 7090%. The purpose
of this study is to know the sensitivity of uropatogenous Escherichia coli to antibiotic of urinary
tract infection patients in RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang in the period of JanuaryDecember
2008. This study is an observational descriptive study, using cross sectional method. The sample
was patients with meaningful bacteriuria on urine test with uripatogenous Escherichia coli in
RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang in the period of January  December 2008 taken by total sampling
technique. The result of the study showed that the number of urinary tract infection during
JanuaryDecember 2008 was 347 cases. The UTI patients were mostly women and the most ages
were productive ages (4150 yearold). Uropatogenous Escherichia coli was sensitive to
Netilmycin, Amikacin, Meropenem, and Nitrofurantoin, and resisted to Amphicillin,
Amoxycillin, Cefuroxim, Tetracycline, Doxycycline, and Sulfonamid.
