Perseroan melakukan penambahan modal tanpa Hak
Memesan Efek Terlebih Dahulu dengan menambah

The Company held a capital increase by issuing
343,177,700 new shares without pre-emptive rights
on March 12, 2012, so the number of outstanding
shares rose to 377,496,470,000 shares.
The Company held a stock split on June 27, 2013, at
a ratio of 1:10 from Rp100 to Rp10 per share. The
total number of outstanding shares moved up from
377,496,470,000 to 37,749,547,000 shares.
The Company held a capital increase by issuing
864,705,900 new shares without pre-emptive rights
on December 5, 2014, so the number of outstanding
shares climbed to 38,614,252,900) shares.
The Company acquired 30% capital stocks of PT Midi
Utama Indonesia Tbk on December 5, 2014, so the
Company’s ownership increased to 86.72%.

Dear Shareholders,

Pada tahun 2014, kondisi perekonomian global mengalami
pemulihan yang lambat dan tidak merata sesuai yang diharapkan.
Di satu sisi, ekonomi Amerika Serikat mengalami pemulihan
yang semakin baik sejak triwulan II dan III, dan di sisi lain, Eropa
mengalami pemulihan yang lambat seiring dengan menurunnya
inlasi dan tingkat keyakinan konsumen.
Sementara itu, pertumbuhan ekonomi negara-negara berkembang
secara keseluruhan mengalami perlambatan. Perlambatan ekonomi
dunia dibarengi dengan penurunan harga minyak dunia yang
mendorong penurunan harga komoditas secara signiikan.

Global economic recovery in 2014 had been slow and unequal
beyond expectation. On one side, the United States’ economy
recovered better since the second and the third quarters, and on
the other side, Europe’s economy had recovered more slowly in
line with the decline in inlation and consumers’ conidence.

Sejalan dengan perlambatan ekonomi global dan kebijakan
stabilisasi ekonomi nasional, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia
sedikit mengalami tekanan dengan mencatat pertumbuhan ekonomi
5,02%1) dibanding tahun 2013 yang mencapai 5,58%. Dari sisi
eksternal perlambatan tersebut disebabkan akibat turunnya ekspor
yang disebabkan turunnya permintaan dan harga komoditas global
serta pembatasan ekspor mineral mentah. Dari sisi permintaan
domestik, perlambatan didorong oleh terbatasnya konsumsi
pemerintah akibat penghematan anggaran, selain itu kegiatan
investasi juga masih belum tumbuh. Ditengah tantangan global,
secara keseluruhan perekonomian Indonesia relatif cukup baik
yang ditopang oleh fundamental ekonomi, kebijakan stabilisasi
ekonomi serta perbaikan struktural.

In line with the global economic slowdown as well as the national
economic stabilization policy, Indonesia’s economic growth went
through a slight pressure and the country recorded economic
growth of 5.02%1) compared to the growth in 2013 which was
5.58%. On the external side, the slowdown was caused by export
decline which was triggered by the fall in demand and prices of
global comodities as well as the limitation of crude mineral export.
On the side of domestic demand, the slowdown was caused by
the limitation of the government consumption owing to the budget
eiciency, whereas the investment activities did not yet grow.
Amid this global challenge, Indonesia’s economy in general has
been relatively robust, supported by its economic fundamental,
economic stabilization policy and structural improvement.

Pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga mengalami penyesuaian
seiring dengan perlambatan ekonomi dan menurunnya dampak
PEMILU, selain didorong oleh pelemahan daya beli akibat
kenaikan harga BBM Bersubsidi. Kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi
juga mengimbas kepada kenaikan inlasi, hingga mencapai 8,36%
(YoY)2). Kondisi nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap Dollar sepanjang
tahun 2014 pun melemah dan terdepresiasi 1,74% (YoY) hingga
ke level Rp 12.385 per dollar AS seiring dengan perbaikan
ekonomi Amerika Serikat dan rencana kenaikan suku bunga Fed
Fund Rate. Namun demikian pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga
masih menjadi penopang tertinggi pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia
dengan kontribusi mencapai 56,07% ) terhadap PDB menurut
pengeluaran atau meningkat sebesar 0,25% dibandingkan tahun
sebelumnya. (2013: 55,82%)

Household consumption spending went through adjustment in
tandem with the economic slowdown and lower impact of the
GENERAL ELECTIONS, and because of the weaker buying power
owing to hike in subsidized fuel prices. The hike in subsidized fuel
prices affected the inlation as well, which rose to 8.36% (YoY)2).
Rupiah exchange-rate to the Dollar also weakened in 2014 by
1.74% (YoY) at Rp12,385 per US dollar in line with United States’
economic improvement and planned increase in Fed Fund Rate.
Still, household consumption spending remained the ultimate
support of Indonesia’s economic growth with contribution of
56.07% ) to the GDP in terms of spending, or rising by 0.25%
compared to the previous year. (2013: 55.82%)

Evaluation on the Board of Directors’ Performance in the
Company’s Governance

Di tengah kondisi ekonomi dan tantangan usaha yang semakin
ketat kami dapat laporkan pencapaian positif Perseroan pada
tahun 2014. Pencapaian pengembangan gerai Perseroan dan
Entitas Anak tumbuh sebesar 15,65% menjadi total 10.758
gerai, terdiri dari 9.861 gerai Perseroan dan 897 gerai Entitas
Anak. Pendapatan neto konsolidasian Perseroan dan Entitas Anak
meningkat sebesar 19,7% menjadi Rp 41,77 triliun. Pencapaian ini
merupakan cerminan kesungguhan manajemen beserta jajarannya

Meanwhile, economic growths in the developing countries generally
slowed down. The global economic slowdown was coupled with
global oil price fall which had caused a signiicant decline in the
prices of commodities.

Amid such economic condition and the increasing business
challenge, we are pleased to report about the Company’s positive
achievement in 2014. The achievement in expanding the Company’s
and its Subsidiary’s stores was relected by the number of stores
that grew by 15.65% at totally 10,758 stores, comprising 9,861
units of the Company’s stores and 897 units of its Subsidiary’s
stores. The Company’s and its Subsidiary’s consolidated net revenue

untuk berupaya memberikan pencapaian terbaiknya dari target
yang telah ditetapkan.

the seriousness of the management and its staff in providing the
very best result against the established target.

payment point dengan menambah banyak itur layanan di gerai
mendapat sambutan yang baik dari pelanggan. Hal ini tercermin
pada Pendapatan lainnya pada tahun 2014 meningkat 36,17%
hingga mencapai Rp 277,31 milliar. Fee based income ini
diharapkan akan semakin meningkat seiring dengan penambahan
gerai Perseroan dan Entitas Anak, peningkatan itur layanan
yang bekerjasama dengan pihak ketiga dan tingginya kebutuhan
masyarakat untuk bertransaksi secara lebih nyaman dan mudah di
gerai-gerai Perseroan.

The Company’s focus on further expanding the store into a
payment point by adding more service features in every store has
been positively responded by the customers. This is relected by
the Company’s other revenues in 2014 which rose by 36.17%
to Rp277.31 billion. This fee based income is expected to rise
further in line with the increase in number of the Company’s and
its Subsidiary’s stores, the improvement in the service features by
cooperating with the third party and the people’s high demand for
a more convenient and easier transaction at the Company’s stores.

Sejalan dengan visi Perseroan dan program pemerintah untuk
menjadi jaringan ritel yang dimiliki masyarakat luas, Perseroan
dan Entitas Anak sepanjang tahun 2014 senantiasa berupaya
mengajak masyarakat untuk bekerjasama melalui investasi dengan
sistem waralaba. Perseroan dan Entitas Anak terlibat aktif dalam
Assosiasi Franchise Indonesia (AFI), pameran, workshop dan
promosi yang diselenggarakan instansi, lembaga atau pemerintah
daerah. Hingga akhir tahun 2014 Perseroan dan Entitas Anak telah
telah memiliki 2.941 gerai waralaba.

In line with the Company’s vision and the government’s program to
create a retail network that belongs to the people, the Company
and its Subsidiary in 2014 had sought to call the people to
cooperate in an investment program via a franchise system. The
Company and its Subsidiary have been actively involved in the
country’s franchise organization, Asosiasi Franchise Indonesia (AFI),
exhibitions, workshops and promotions held by institutions, bodies
or regional goverments. Until the end of 2014, the Company and
its Subsidiary already had 2,941 franchise stores.

Di sisi operasional, tantangan yang masih harus dihadapi
Perseroan dan Entitas Anak pada tahun 2014 adalah penyesuaian
upah minimum di setiap daerah, penghapusan subsidi bahan
bakar minyak, kenaikan tarif dasar listrik dan kenaikan harga
properti. Kondisi ini berdampak signiikan terhadap beban usaha
konsolidasian Perseroan dan Entitas Anak terhadap pendapatan
neto yang meningkat di tahun 2014 sebesar 0,3% menjadi sebesar
16,2%.

On the operating side, the challenges still faced by the Company
and its Subsidiary in 2014 had been the adjustment to the
minimum wage regulation in every region, the abolishment of fuel
subsidy, electricity tariff hike, and property price increase. The
above-cited condition had a signiicant impact on the Company’s
and its Subsidiary’s consolidated operating expense against the the
net revenue that increased in 2014 by 0.3% to 16.2%.

Sepanjang tahun 2014, Perseroan telah menerbitkan Obligasi
Berkelanjutan tahap I sebesar Rp 1,00 triliun dengan jangka waktu
3 tahun dengan suku bunga 10,5%. Tujuan diterbitkannya obligasi
ini adalah untuk pelunasan sebagian hutang bank, pengembangan
jaringan gerai dan gudang serta membiayai kegiatan operasional
Perseroan. Perseroan juga menerbitkan saham tanpa hak memesan
efek terlebih dahulu serta mengakuisi 30% modal saham PT Midi
Utama Indonesia Tbk. (MIDI) sehingga semakin memperkuat sinergi
usaha dengan Entitas Anak.

In 2014, the Company had issued continued continuous bonds I
worth Rp1.00 trillion with tenor of 3 years and interest rate of
10.5%. The aim of the bond issue was to repay the partial bank
debt, expand stores and warehouses, as well as to inance the
Company’s operation. The Company also had issues new shares
without pre-emptive rights and acquired 30% capital shares of
PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) to strengthen the business
synergy wih its Subsidiary.

Ditengah tantangan usaha dan operasional sepanjang tahun
2014, Perseroan dan Entitas Anak berhasil mempertahankan
pertumbuhan laba usaha. Persentase laba usaha konsolidasian
Perseroan dan Entitas Anak pada tahun 2014 meningkat sebesar
0,1% menjadi 2,80%

Amid the business and operational challenges in 2014, the
Company and its Subsidiary managed to maintain operating proit
growth. The percentage of the Company’s and its Subsidiary’s
consolidated operating proit in 2014 rose by 0.1% to 2.80%.

Prospek dan Tantangan Usaha

Prospects and Business Challenges

Perseroan dan Entitas Anak pada tahun ini semakin fokus
untuk dapat mencapai target pertumbuhan jangka panjang dari
semua aspek organisasi seiring dengan tantangan dan peluang
yang dihadapi. Dari aspek sumber daya manusia kompetensi,
pengembangan karir dan jabatan karyawan senantiasa menjadi
prioritas utama. Bermacam pelatihan dikembangkan dan diterapkan
guna memaksimalkan potensi dan kemampuan setiap karyawan
agar dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi Perseroan. Dari aspek
operasional selain pengembangan sarana prasarana gerai, gudang
dan kantor, Perseroan dan Entitas Anak senantiasa memperbaiki
proses bisnis agar semakin efektif dan eisien serta memperbaiki
dan mengembangkan strategi layanan kepada pelanggan. Dengan
ini kami berkeyakinan dalam jangka panjang gerai-gerai Perseroan
dan Entitas Anak akan menjadi pilihan berbelanja masyarakat.

This year the Company and its Subsidiary have focused more on
reaching long-term growth targets of all aspects of organization
considering the existing challenges and chances. Regarding
competent human resources, the employees’ career and position
improvement have always become main priority. Various training
courses have been developed and implemented in a bid to maximize
each employee’s potential and capability to enable the employee
to make a positive contribution to the Company. With regard
to operational aspect, other than developing sore, warehouse
and oice facilities, the Company and its Subsidiary also have
continued to improve the process of business to make it even more
effective and eicient, as well as develop the customer service
strategy. With this, we are conident that in the long term the
Company’s and its Subsidiary’s stores will become the people’s
choice for shopping.

Perekonomian global yang masih dibayangi ketidakpastian
diperkirakan masih akan berlanjut dimana pemulihan ekonomi
negara maju, khususnya Amerika Serikat akan semakin membaik
dan berakibat kepada penguatan dollar AS terhadap semua mata
uang dunia. Namun disisi lain sejumlah risiko eksternal juga masih
menjadi tantangan khususnya tingginya volatilitas pasar keuangan
global sejalan dengan kemungkinan kenaikan suku bunga Fed Fund
rate dan anjloknya harga komoditas dunia.

Global economic uncertainty is still expected to continue, as
economic recoveries in developed countries, especially the United
States, may be better and trigger appreciation of the US dollar
against all global currencies. But on the other side, a number of
external risks may also become the challenge especially the global
inancial market’s high volatility in line with the possible increase
in Fed Fund rate and the fall of global commodities’ prices.

Sebagai bagian yang tumbuh dan berkembang di dalam
masyarakat, Perseroan dan Entitas Anak berkomitmen untuk
bertanggung jawab terhadap kemajuan dan kesejahteraan
masyarakat di sekitarnya. Termasuk diantaranya mendukung setiap
upaya pemerintah baik pusat dan daerah dalam meningkatkan
pendidikan dan kesejahteraan. Perseroan dan Entitas Anak
senantiasa mendorong produk-produk lokal disekitar lokasi gerai
untuk dapat dipasarkan di gerai-gerai melalui program house
brand private label atau penyewaan booth di depan gerai. Melalui
payung program tanggung jawab sosial, Perseroan dan Entitas
Anak mendukung upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan
meningkatkan kesejahteraan pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah
melalui pelatihan management ritel, penyediaan barang pasokan
dengan harga khusus, perbaikan display barang dan tampilan
kios. Diharapkan pengusaha mikro, kecil dan menengah tersebut
akan dapat tumbuh dan berkembang bersama dengan Perseroan
dan Entitas Anak. Di bidang pendidikan, bekerjasama dengan
dinas pendidikan daerah mengembangkan modul materi pelajaran

It includes among others, supporting the efforts of the central
as well as the regional governments in improving education and
welfare. The Company and its Subsidiary have always encouraged
local products around the store locations to be marketed in outlets
via a program called house brand private label (lease of booths
in the front of the stores). By social responsibility programs,
the Company and its Subsidiary have supported the people’s
empowerment by improving the welfare of micro-, small- and
medium-scale businessmen by giving them a retail management
training, supplying merchandises at special prices, and improving
the look and display of their kiosks. Expectedly the above-cited
businessmen will be able to grow and lourish together with the
Company and its Subsidiary. In education sector, the Company
cooperates with regional education oices in developing a modul
of study on retail management for use in vocational high schools.

Perekonomian Indonesia pada tahun 2015 diperkirakan masih
akan bertumbuh pada kisaran 5,4% - 5,8%2) yang didukung
oleh konsumsi rumah tangga sebagai penopang utama. Selain
itu pertumbuhan tersebut akan didukung oleh ekspansi konsumsi
dan investasi pemerintah sejalan dengan peningkatan kapasitas
iskal untuk mendukung kegiatan ekonomi produktif termasuk
pembangunan infrastruktur. Deisit neraca transaksi berjalan pada
tahun 2015 diharapkan akan membaik seiring dengan turunnya
harga minyak dunia dan reformasi subsidi pemerintah namun perlu
memperhatikan meningkatnya impor non migas terkait proyek
pemerintah. Fundamental ekonomi juga diharapkan akan membaik
sejalan dengan reformasi struktural dan masuknya arus modal
asing ke Indonesia. Nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap Dollar diperkirakan
masih akan menguat seiring perbaikan ekonomi Amerika Serikat,
namun Bank Indonesia masih akan menjaga stabilitas nilai tukar
agar sesuai fundamentalnya sehingga dapat mendukung stablitas
makro ekonomi. Diharapkan inlasi akan tetap terkendali pada
kisaran 4%(+1%) dengan didukung oleh pengendalian inlasi inti
dan turunnya harga minyak dunia.

Indonesia’s economy by the end of 2015 is still expected to grow
at 5.4-5.8%2) supported by household consumption as the main
contributor. Besides, the growth may be triggered by the expansion
of the government consumption and investment along with the
increase in iscal capacity to support productive economic activities
that includes infrastructure development. Current transaction
deicit in 2015 is expected to recover in tandem with global fuel

consider about is the hike in non oil and gas import which has to
do with the government projects. The economic fundamental is
also expected to strenghen along with the structural reforms and
foreign capital inlow to Indonesia. Rupiah exchange rate to the US
Dollar is still expected to appreciate in line with the United States’
economic recovery, yet Bank Indonesia will keep the currency’s
exchange rate stability in order to adjust it to its fundamental
so the currency will be able to support macro economic stablity.
Expectedly the inlation will remain under control at 4%(+1%)
supported by the core inlation control and global oil price fall.

Beberapa hal yang masih menjadi tantangan adalah ketidakpastian
pengurangan subsidi bahan bakar minyak seiring dengan kebijakan
pemerintah untuk menyesuaikan pengurangan subsidi sesuai
harga pasar minyak dunia, kenaikan upah minimum daerah dan
penyesuaian tarif dasar listrik. Oleh karenanya setiap lini organisasi
ditekankan untuk senantiasa mengupayakan terobosan/inovasi
untuk meningkatkan pendapatan, melakukan eisiensi biaya pada
setiap aktivitas dan meningkatkan produktivitas.

Some of the issues that will remain to become challenges are the
uncertainty about fuel oil subsidy reduction in tandem with the
government’s policy to adjust the subsidy reduction to global oil
market price, regional minimum wage increase and basic electricity
tariff adjustment. For that reason, every organizational line has
been reminded to always struggle to ind breakthrough/make
innovation in order to boost revenues, implement cost eiciency in
every activity and improve productivity.

Corporate Governance (GCG), while development and evaluation
have been constantly made to reach the purpose of the GCG.
The Board of Commisioners assisted by the Committee of Audit
and the Internal Audit’s Task Unit have continued to undertake
evaluation and provide suggestions concerning all decisions made
by the Board of Directors and the management in maintaining
the Company’s business and budget plans. Besides, as part of the
communities, the Company and its Subsidiary will continue to take

Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan (RUPST) yang
diselenggarakan pada tanggal 25 Juni 2014, telah mengangkat
Ibu Feny Djoko Susanto sebagai Presiden Komisaris dan Bapak
Pudjianto sebagai Komisaris Perseroan.
Pada tanggal yang sama, RUPST juga telah mengangkat Bapak
Solihin sebagai Direktur Perseroan.

Pada tahun 2014 kondisi perekonomian global menunjuk
kan pertumbuhan yang melambat sebagai dampak pemulihan
perekonomian yang tidak merata, Amerika Serikat di satu sisi
mengalami perkembangan semakin solid dan di sisi lain negaranegara Eropa, Tiongkok, Jepang dan negara berkembang lain
mengalami perlambatan. Untuk negara berkembang perlambatan
seiring dengan penurunan harga minyak dan harga komoditas yang
signiikan. Pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia pun juga mengalami
tekanan dengan hanya mencatatkan pertumbuhan 5,02%1), turun
0,56% dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. (2013: 5,58%)

Global economic conditions in 2014 showed a slower recovery
due to the unequal economic recoveries, on one side the United
States recorded a stronger growth while on the other side the
countries like Europe, China, Japan and other developing countries
went through a slowdown. Slowdown in the developing countries
was caused by the signiicant fall in prices of oil and commodities.
Indonesia’s economic growth was also under pressure at merely
5.02%1), falling by 0.56% compared to the earlier year. (2013:
5.58%)

Namun demikian Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia juga mencatat
pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia untuk komponen pengeluaran
konsumsi rumah tangga masih tumbuh sebesar 5,14%1) hingga
mencapai 56,07%. Hal inilah yang menjadi harapan dan peluang
besar bagi industri ritel di Indonesia, sehingga tantangan dan
persaingan industri ritel akan semakin berat di tahun-tahun
mendatang.

Yet, the Central Board of Statistics still recorded a growth in
Indonesia’s household consumption by 5,14%1) at 56.07%. It is
this matter that triggers the expectation and great chances for
the country’s retail industry, and thus makes the challenges and
competition in the industry even tighter in the years to come.

Meskipun Perseroan dan Entitas Anak menghadapi tantangan berat
sepanjang tahun 2014, namun jajaran manajemen dan seluruh
karyawan dengan kegigihan dan kerja keras dapat melaluinya
dengan baik dan menghasilkan pencapaian yang positif.

Despite the powerful challenges that the Company and its
Subsidiary had to face in 2014, the management and the whole
employees with persistence and hardwork had managed to go
through and make a positive achievement.

Pendapatan neto konsolidasian Perseroan dan Entitas Anak
pada tahun 2014 mencapai Rp 41,77 triliun, meningkat 19,7%
dibandingkan tahun 2013 sebesar Rp 34,90 triliun. Kenaikan
pendapatan neto tersebut sebagian besar didorong oleh pembukaan
gerai baru dan pencapaian kinerja Entitas Anak yang menunjukkan
pertumbuhan yang menggembirakan.

The Company’s and its Subsidiary’s consolidated net revenue was
Rp41.77 trillion in 2014, climbing by 19.7% as compared to
2013 which was Rp34.90 trillion. The increase in the net revenue
was triggered mostly by the opening of new stores as well as the
Subsidiary’s performance that showed a promising growth.

Jumlah gerai Perseroan dan Entitas Anak bertambah sebanyak
1.456 gerai atau tumbuh sebesar 15,65% menjadi 10.758 gerai
(2013: 9.302 gerai), terdiri dari 9.861 gerai Perseroan (2013:
8.557 gerai) dan 897 gerai Entitas Anak.(2013: 745 gerai).
Sebanyak 81,76% gerai Perseroan dan Entitas Anak tersebar
di Jawa dan Bali (2013: 84,36%) dan 18,24% berada di pulau
Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi dan Lombok (2013: 15,36%).
Penetrasi gerai di luar Jawa dan Bali masih akan menjadi prioritas
Perseroan dan Entitas Anak ke depan mengingat potensi bisnis ritel
yang masih terbuka luas.

Number of the Company’s and its Subsidiary’s stores increased

Sejalan dengan visi Perseroan dan upaya pemerintah (Peraturan
Menteri Perdagangan No 68 tahun 2012) untuk mendukung
kepemilikan gerai oleh masyarakat luas, berbagai upaya senantiasa
dilakukan Perseroan. Beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan
tujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan memasarkan kerjasama usaha
melalui skema bisnis waralaba antara lain: terlibat aktif dalam
kegiatan Asosiasi Franchise Indonesia, mengikuti pameran yang
diselenggarakan oleh instansi /lembaga /pemerintah daerah,
seminar dan workshop. Hingga tahun 2014, upaya Perseroan dan
Entitas Anak disambut baik oleh masyarakat dengan pertumbuhan
gerai franchise sebanyak 418 gerai sehingga jumlah gerai waralaba
menjadi 2.941 gerai (2.922 gerai Perseroan dan 19 gerai Entitas
Anak).

In tandem with the Company’s vision and the government’s
effort (Trade Minister’s Regulation No 68 of 2012) to support
store ownership by the public, the Company has made various
efforts continuously. Several activities have been done in order
to introduce and market a business cooperation via a franchise
scheme like among others: actively involved wihtin the country’s
franchise society Asosiasi Franchise Indonesia, attending exhibitions
held by the regional government institutions /agencies as well as
attending seminars and workshops. Until the end of 2014, the
Company’s and its Subsidiary’s effort had been welcomed by the
communities as number of franchise stores grew by 418 units to
2,941 units (2,922 units owned by the Company and 19 units by
the Subsidiary).

Sepanjang tahun 2014 Perseroan telah menambah 7 gudang (6
gudang baru dan 1 gudang relokasi) sebagai pendukung utama
jaringan gerai yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia. 6 gudang baru
yang dibangun, 2 diantaranya untuk mendukung ekspansi gerai di
lokasi baru yaitu Pontianak dan Manado, 4 gudang lainnya untuk
memperkuat efektiitas pasokan di setiap gerai yakni Kotabumi,
Karawang, Rembang dan Lombok. 1 gudang relokasi yakni gudang
Parung menggantikan fungsi gudang Serpong yang dinilai sudah
tidak memadai. Pembangungan 4 gudang di luar Jawa merupakan
fokus Perseroan sebagai upaya untuk menangkap peluang dan
potensi bisnis serta memperluas jaringan di luar Jawa.

In 2014, the Company had added 7 warehouses (6 new
warehouses and 1 relocated warehouse) as the main support of
the store networks that spread in all areas of Indonesia. Of the six
new warehouses, 2 have been used to support store expansions
in new locations they are Pontianak and Manado, 4 others to
support effectiveness of supplies for the stores in Kotabumi,
Karawang, Rembang and Lombok. The relocated warehouse in
Parung replaced the warehouse in Serpong that was regarded
insuicient any longer. The construction of the 4 warehouses
outside Java has been part of the Company’s focus on grabbing
the business chance and potential as well as expanding networks
outside Java.

Misi Perseroan dan Entitas Anak adalah menjadikan setiap gerainya
menjadi toko komunitas yang dapat diandalkan, memberikan
banyak kemudahan dan nyaman sehingga mampu memberikan
kepuasan dan memenuhi harapan pelanggan. Sejalan dengan misi
tersebut Perseroan dan Entitas Anak senantiasa meningkatkan
value added service di seluruh gerainya dengan menambah itur-itur
layanan, sehingga gerai sebagai payment point akan mempermudah
pelanggan untuk memenuhi pembayaran keperluan sehari-hari.
Atas upaya ini Perseroan dan Entitas Anak mampu membukukan
pendapatan lainnya konsolidasian hingga Rp 277,31 miliar atau
36,17% dari tahun sebelumnya (2013: Rp 203,65 miliar). Di masa
yang akan datang Perseroan dan Entitas Anak percaya kontribusi
value added service akan lebih meningkat seiring pengembangan
jaringan gerai dan itur layanan yang semakin banyak.

The Company and its Subsidiary have the mission of making every
outlet a reliable cummunity store that offers considerable facilities
and convenience in order to give satisfaction and fulil the
customers’ expectation. In tandem with the mission the Company
and its Subsidiary have ocntinued to incerase the value added
service in all stores by adding the service features, hence the stores
as payment points will facilitate the customers in making payment
for the daily needs. Owing to the effort, the Company and its
Subsidiary had managed to book consolidated other revenues of
up to Rp277.31 billion or 36.17% above the previous year (2013:
Rp203.65 billion). In the time to come the Company and its
Subsidiary are certain that the value added service’s contribution
will increase further in line with the expansion of the store network
and the more various service features.

Memanfaatkan dinamika perkembangan internet, maraknya sarana
komunikasi ponsel pintar dan kebutuhan pelanggan baik produk
serta kedekatan personal, Perseroan dan Entitas Anak sejak dua
tahun terakhir mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan efektiitas
e-commerce melalui layanan belanja online “Alfaonline”. Melalui
media belanja Alfaonline, pelanggan dapat menikmati suasana
belanja kebutuhan rumah tangga yang praktis dan mudah hanya
dengan media internet.

By using the dynamics of internet development, widespread
smart phone communication device as well as the customers’
need for product and personal approach, the Company and its
Subsidiary have since the last two years developed and made use
of the effectiveness of e-commerce via online shopping service
“Alfaonline.” Via Alfaonline, the customers are able to enjoy
a practical and easy shopping of household needs only by using
internet media.

Perseroan juga menggunakan strategi melalui digital marketing
dengan memanfaatkan website dan sosial media. Perseroan
memanfaatkan website www.alfamartku.com sebagai media
untuk memberikan informasi: produk, program promosi, berita, CSR
hingga aksi korporasi yang dilakukan oleh Perseroan. Sosial media
digunakan Perseroan sebagai sarana untuk menjalin kedekatan
personal dengan pelanggan, dimana pelanggan mendapatkan
informasi mengenai program yang sedang berjalan, memberikan

positive response from the communities with a relatively high
number of followers. Because of the achievement, the Company
received the Social Media Award and the Digital Marketing Award
for the third time in 2014.

Perseroan dan Entitas Anak juga senantiasa mengembangkan dan
membangun loyalitas pelanggan melalui sarana member “Aku”
dengan secara reguler merancang dan menawarkan berbagai
program promo khusus member. Selain itu berbagai kegiatan
dilakukan seperti: Member Shopping Race, Arisan, Mudik, Ulang
tahun dan Hari Pelanggan Nasional diselenggarakan sebagai
wujud apresiasi Perseroan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Sebagai
hasilnya hingga 2014, Perseroan telah memiliki lebih dari 4,2 juta
pelanggan dimana 49%nya adalah member aktif.

The Company and its Subsidiary also have continued to build
and improve the customers’ loyalty through “Aku” membership
by regularly designing and offering various special promotion
programs for the members. Besides, other activities have been
undertaken like: Member Shopping Race, Arisan, Mudik, Birthday
Celebration and the National Customer Day, as realization of the
Company’s appreciation for the customers’ loyalty. As a result,
until 2014 the Company already had more than 4.2 million
customers, of which 49% were active members.

Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan positif Perseroan dan Entitas
Anak sepanjang tahun 2014 tidak terlepas dari berbagai tantangan
operasional diantaranya kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi, kenaikan
upah minimum, kenaikan tarif dasar listrik dan kenaikan harga sewa
untuk toko Alfamart yang dimiliki oleh Perseroan yang berdampak
signiikan terhadap beban usaha. Berbagai upaya eisiensi, evaluasi
produktivitas, penyegaran produk di gerai, optimaliasi selling space,
perbaikan rantai pasokan dan pengembangan inovasi dilakukan
Perseroan dan Entitas Anak. Upaya tersebut mampu menekan laju
kenaikan beban usaha konsolidasian terhadap pendapatan neto
sebesar 0,26% (2013:1,97%) sehingga menjadi sebesar 16,19%.
Di masa yang akan datang Perseroan dan Entitas Anak akan
berupaya untuk terus melakukan upaya-upaya perbaikan agar
dapat menekan laju kenaikan beban usaha.

Company’s stores which had a signiicant impact on the operating
expense. Numerous efforts of eiciency, productivity evaluation,
product refreshing in outlets, selling space optimization, supply
chain improvement and innovation enhancement have been made
by the Company and its Subsidiary. Such efforts had managed
to hamper the increase in the consolidated operating expense to
the net revenue by 0.26% (2013:1.97%) to 16.19%. In the future,
the Company and its Subsidiary will seek to continue making
improvement efforts in a bid to halt the increase in operating
expense.

Meskipun menghadapi tantangan berat pada tahun 2014 dari sisi
operasional yang dibarengi dengan upaya ekspansi, Perseroan
masih mampu mempertahankan pertumbuhan laba usaha.
Persentase laba usaha konsolidasian Perseroan dan Entitas
Anak terhadap pendapatan neto meningkat dari tahun 2013
sebesar 0,09% menjadi 2,80% (2013: 2,71%). Namun demikian
Perseroan meyakini strategi ekspansi yang dilakukan akan mampu
meningkatkan laba usaha di masa yang akan datang.

Despite big challenges in 2014 on operation side that was coupled
with the expansion plan, the Company still manage to maintain
operating proit growth. The percentage of the Company’s and
its Subsidiary’s consolidated operating proit to the net revenue
climbed by 0.09% from that in 2013 to 2.80% (2013: 2.71%). Yet
the Company and its Subsidiary are conident that the expansion
strategy which has been implemented will be able to increase the
operating proit in the future.

diatribusikan kepada pemilik entitas induk turun 0,26% menjadi
1,28% (2013: 1,54%). Hal ini selain disebabkan oleh peningkatan
biaya operasional juga disebabkan oleh peningkatan beban
keuangan karena meningkatnya suku bunga bank, hutang bank
dan hutang obligasi sejalan dengan upaya ekspansi yang dilakukan
Perseroan dan Entitas Anak.

The percentage of the consolidated proit of the current year
attributeable to owner of the holding entity fell by 0.26% to
1.28% (2013: 1.54%). This was caused not only by the hike in
the operating expense but also because of increase in inancial
expense, banking interest, bank debt and bond debt in line with the
expansions conducted by the Company and its Subsidiary.
