Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara career calling dan
psychological well-being pada Pendeta Gereja Toraja di Toraja. Jumlah partisipan dalam
penelitian ini adalah 150 orang dengan pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik snowball
sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Alat ukur yang
digunakan adalah Calling and Vocation Questionnaire (CVQ) dan Ryff’s Psychological
Well-Being Scale (RPWB). Analisis data menggunakan Pearson Product Moment dengan
SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif signifikan
antara career calling dan psychological well-being dengan hasil r = 0.431 dengan nilai
signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (p < 0,05) yang artinya semakin tinggi career calling maka
semakin tinggi pula psychological well-being. Career calling memberikan sumbangan
terhadap psychological well-being sebesar 18.6% (r2=0.186) di mana 81.4% dipengaruhi
oleh faktor lain. Tingkat kategorisasi career calling berada pada kategori sangat tinggi
(mean 55.89) dan psychological well-being berada pada kategori tinggi (mean 89.98).

Abstract
This study aims to inventigate the relationship between career calling and psychological
well-being in the Priest of Toraja Church in Toraja. The sample in this study was 150
people with decision-compaction using snowball sampling. This research is a quantitative
correlation. Measuring instrument used in this study refers to Calling and Vocation
Questionnaire (CVQ) and Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale (RPWB). Data analysis
using Pearson Product Moment with SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed a
significant positive correlation between career calling and psychological well-being with
the result r = 0.431 and significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), it means the higher of the
career calling then will also higher of psychological well-being. The main result shows that
career calling influence psychological well-being with 18.6% (r 2= .0186) of contribution,
which 81.4% are explained by other factors. Categorization level of career calling is very
high (mean 55.89) and psychological well-being in high (mean 89.98).
