INTISARI
Kepuasan perkawinan merupakan evaluasi suami istri terhadap seluruh
kualitas kehidupan perkawinan. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilihat untuk
mengetahui kualitas kepuasan perkawinan adalah waktu bersama dengan
pasangan, sedangkan pasangan yang sulit untuk mendapatkan waktu bersama
adalah pasangan commuter marriage. Dalam kondisi ini pasangan suami istri
secara suka rela berpisah lokasi tempat tinggal dengan pasangannya karena
kondisi pekerjaannya. Terdapat 2 tipe dalam commuter marriage yaitu, tipe
adjusting dan tipe established.Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui
apakah ada perbedaankepuasan perkawinan pada istri yang menjalani commuter
marriage tipe adjusting dan tipe established.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode
kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan sebanyak 60 angket kepada para istri yang
menjalani commuter marriage. Angket untuk pengumpulan data menggunakan
angket Marital Satisfaction Inventory-Revised (MSI-R)dan hipotesis penelitian
diuji dengan uji Non-Parametric menggunakan U-Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kepuasan perkawinan pada istri yang
menjalani commuter marriage tipe adjusting dan tipe established, dengan nilai
sig.= 0,149. Tidak ada perbedaan ini berarti kepuasan perkawinan pada istri yang
menjalani commuter marriage tipe adjusting sama dengan kepuasan perkawinan
yang dirasakan oleh tipe established. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena istri yang
menjalani commuter marriage tipe adjusting dan tipe established memiliki
banyak kesamaan seperti pekerjaan suami, penghasilan suami, tempat tinggal,
fasilitas yang membuat para istri merasa saling mendukung satu dengan yang lain
karena adanya persamaan tersebut baik tipe adjusting dan tipe established.

ABSTRACK
Marital satisfaction is an evaluation of a husband and wife to the overall
quality of marital life. One of the things that can be seen to determine the quality
of marital satisfaction is time together with the couple, while the couple were hard
to get time together is a commuter marriage partner. In this condition the couple
voluntarily parted with her partner location of residence because his working
conditions. There are two types in a commuter marriage, namely, adjusting the
type and the type established. The purpose of this study was to determine whether
there are differences in marital satisfaction on the wife who underwent commuter
marriage adjusting the type and the type established. This study uses quantitative
methods to deploy as many as 60 questionnaires to wives who undergo commuter
marriage. Questionnaire for data collection using questionnaires Marital
Satisfaction Inventory-Revised (MSI-R) and the research hypothesis tested with
Non-Parametric using the U Mann-Whitney.The results showed that there was no
difference in marital satisfaction on the wife who underwent commuter marriage
adjusting the type and the type established, with sig. = 0.149. This means that
there is no difference in the wife's marital satisfaction undergoing adjusting same
type commuter marriage with marital satisfaction felt by the type established. This
can happen because the wife is undergoing commuter marriage type of adjusting
and type established have much in common as husband's work, the husband's
income, housing, facilities to make their wives feel mutually support one another
because of the similarity of the both types of adjusting and type established
