PRATAMA KARANGANYAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN
NOMOR POKOK WAJIB PAJAK (NPWP)
RIO FEBRI HERJUNO

The purpose of this research is to know the effort and the results of
extending the tax payers by Karanganyar District Tax Office in order to increase
tax revenue.
The step of this research is done by comparing between theory and
practices occured in the field in terms of tax revenue.
The result of the research are based on survey results revealed that the
realization of income tax revenue in KPP Karanganyar set by the Government of
Karanganyar District experienced an increase in its budget each year. The increase
was not only within its target for the year 2004 but until in 2008 has been
amended its tax revenue.
The conclusion of this research are the extensive efforts undertaken by
the Tax Office (KPP) Karanganyar city, we can conclude that basically extending
the efforts undertaken by the Tax Office (KPP) Karanganyar city consists of 3
(three) attempts, namely extensive efforts through data collection or sweeping,
effort extending through socialization or education and effort extending through
the MoU or cooperation with related government agencies.
Based on the result of research, the researcher give some suggestion
for KKP Karanganyar, should continue to conduct extensive efforts, because the
results are then registered taxpayer has increased so that the government increase
taxes in the sector also increased. Extensive efforts undertaken, among others, is
to perform data collectin on a reguler basis, where the data is known of the
potential that taxpayers could still be improved.
