Uji Preferensi Oviposisi Bactrocera dorsalis (Diptera : Tephritidae) Pada Beberapa Fase Warna Kematangan Buah Jeruk Tanah Karo di Laboratorium
ABSTRAK
DEWI NATALIA NAPITUPULU: “Uji Preferensi Oviposisi Bactrocera dorsalis
Pasa Beberapa Fase Warna Kematangan Buah Jeruk Tanah Karo di
Laboratorium”. Preferensi oviposisi pada buah jeruk belumk banyak dipelajari.
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi oviposisi B. dorsalis terhadap
fase kematangan buah jeruk. Untuk itu suatu penelitian telah dilakukan di
laboratorium Hama Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sumatera Utara
(±25 m dpl) mulai bulan Mei sampai Juni 2016, menggunakan rancangan acak
lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Fase kematangan
buah dilihat dengan melakukan pengukuran tingkat kelunakan buah (TKB), yaitu
pada fase F0 ; 4,68 gr/mm, F1 ; 5,81 gr/mm, F2 ; 7,45 gr/mm, dan F3 ; 9,59
gr/mm. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase serangan dan jumlah larvaB.
dorsalis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fase warna kematangan
berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Persentase
serangan B. dorsalis tertinggi terdapat pada F3 (TKB = 9,59 gr/mm) sebesar 48%
sedangkan persentase serangan B. dorsalis terendah terdapat pada F0 (TKB = 4,68
gr/mm) yaitu sebesar 0%. Jumlah larva tertinggi terdapat pada F3 (TKB = 9,59
gr/mm) sebesar 7,85 ekor sedangkan persentase serangan B. dorsalis terendah
terdapat pada F0 (TKB = 4,68 gr/mm) yaitu sebesar 0,71 ekor.

dorsalis (Diptera : Tephritidae) in Some Colors Maturity Phase Karo Citrus at
laboratory” supervised by MARHENI and HASANUDDIN. Oviposition
Preferences of Bactrocera dorsalis on citrus fruit maturation stage not been
studied. This research aim to know oviposition preferences of Bactrocera dorsalis
in some colors maturity phase citrus. Therefore, a research had been conducted in
the laboratory of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, University of
North Sumatera (± 25 m asl) Medan in May until June 2016. This research used
non-factorial completely randomized design with four treatments and five
replications. Phase of fruit maturity seen by measuring softness fruit, the stage
where F0 ; 4,68 gr/mm, F1 ; 5,81 gr/mm, F2 ; 7,45 gr/mm, dan F3 ; 9,59 gr/mm.
The parameters observed were the percentage of attacks and number of larvae
Bactrocera dorsalis. The result showed that color phases of maturity and softness
fruit very significant effect on all parameters observed. Bactrocera dorsalis attack
percentage is highest in the F3 amounted to 48 % while the percentage of B.
dorsalis attack was lowest for the F0 amounted to 0 %. The highest total of larvae
found on F3 amounted to 7,85 tail while the total of larvae of B. dorsalis was
lowest for the F0 amounted to 0,71 tail.
