ABSTRAK

Latar Belakang : Karsinoma nasofaring (KNF) merupakan tumor ganas lapisan
epitel nasofaring. Pada respon imun, ikatan molekul kostimulatori CD80, CD86 dan
CD28 dikenal sebagai signal 2, yang mengakibatkan sel T teraktifasi.
Tujuan : Mengetahui hubungan ekspresi CD80 dan CD86 dengan CD8+ pada
pasien Karsinoma Nasofaring Tipe Undifferentiated.
Metode : Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik. Observasi penelitian
dilakukan dengan pendekatan secara cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan mulai

bulan Oktober 2015 sampai besar sampel terpenuhi, setelah itu dilakukan
pewarnaan imunohistokimia dan pembacaan ekspresi CD80, CD86 dan CD8+.
Dilakukan penghitungan sel dengan penentuan score dengan Intensity Distribution
Score (IDS) dan dianalisis dengan uji korelasi dan t test berpasangan.
Hasil : Berdasarkan perhitungan korelasi antara CD80 dengan CD8+ menghasilkan
koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,342 (p = 0,0320,05) disimpulkan tidak terdapat korelasi. Perhitungan
perbedaan ekspresi CD80 dengan CD86, p = 0,065 > 0,05 maka disimpulkan tidak
terdapat perbedaan ekspresi.
Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan positif antara ekspresi CD80 dengan CD8+, tidak
terdapat hubungan antara ekspresi CD86 dengan CD8+ dan tidak terdapat
perbedaan ekspresi antara CD80 dengan CD86 pada karsinoma nasofaring tipe
Undifferentiated

ABSTRACT

Background: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is a malignant tumor of epithelial
lining of the nasopharynx. On the immune response, bond costimulatory molecules
CD80, CD86 and CD28 are known as signal 2, which results in activated T cells.
Objective: To determine the relationship of expression of CD80 and CD86 and
CD8+ T cells in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma undifferentiated type.
Methods: The study design was observational analytic. Observations conducted
research with cross sectional. The study was conducted from October 2015 through
30 samples, after it's done immunohistochemical staining and reading of the
expression of CD80, CD86 and CD8+. Cell counting is done by determining the
score with Intensity Score Distribution (IDS) and analyzed with correlation and
paired t test.
Results: Based on the calculation of correlation between CD80 with CD8 +
produces a correlation coefficient of r = 0.342 (p = 0.032 0.05) concluded there is no
correlation. Calculation differences with the expression of CD80+ and CD86+, p =
0.065> 0.05, it was concluded that there was no difference in expression.

Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between the expression of CD80 and
CD8+, There was no relationship between the expression of CD86 and CD8+ and
there is no difference between the expression of CD80 and CD86 on the type of
undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma
