CONSENT FOR DELAYED VIVA

three (3) months of the date of thesis submission.
This allowance is made due to the following reason/s*:
1.

inability of examiner/s to return the thesis report within the stipulated
time

2.

inability of the student to attend the viva within the stipulated time

3.

delayed nomination/re-nomination of examination committee

I therefore make the following decision*:
I agree to this allowance and hereby relieve SGS of the responsibility of
arranging for the viva voce within 3 months of the thesis submission date.
I disagree with this allowance and would like to suggest the appointment of new
examiner/s (for reason 1 only).
