Hijauan Pakan Ternak (BBPTU-HPT) Baturraden.
rataan produksi laktasi 1 sampai 4 bernilai 2.674,99 kg, 3.382,82 kg, 3.880,60 kg,

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to study the correlation between Body Condition
Score ( BCS ) with 305 days milk production corrected at 1 to 4 lactation. This
research was conducted at Balai Besar Pembibitan Ternak Unggul and Hijauan Pakan
Ternak (BBPTU - HPT) Baturraden. Production data were taken from the records of
dairy cow FH production of lactation 1 to 4 from 2007 to 2013 from 38 head lactation

1, 36 head lactation 2, 28 head lactation 3, and 7 head lactation 4 BCS dry periods.
While the BCS postpartum 1-7 days, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month row is 13, 23, 21, 18
head lactation 1; 11, 25, 23, 18 head lactation 2; 10, 13, 14, 11 head lactation 3; and
7, 7, 5, 5 head lactation 4. Data from each lactation milk production is done using a
standarized 305 day. The results showed that the average milk production of lactation
1 to 4 is 2.674,99 kg, 3.382,82 kg, 3.880,60 kg, and4.043,48 kg. The average BCS
was highest in BCS dry periods, 3,15 lactation 1; 3,09 lactation 2; 3,09 lactation 3;
and 3,07 lactation 4. The correlation values between BCS with 305 days milk
production corrected in 1 to 4 lactation had a moderate correlation with each the
value -0,56; -0,54; -0,58; and -0,67. While the BCS 1-7 days postpartum, 1 month
postpartum, 3 months postpartum, 6 months postpartum showed weak correlation
with milk production. The best time to BCS assessment during dry periods.
