Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kinerja guru Matematika
SMP bersertifikat pendidik di Kabupaten Bantul berdasarkan proses pembelajaran
dalam kelas yang dilakukan guru. Proses pembelajaran di kelas mencakup
perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian
pembelajaran.
Penelitian initermasuk penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan
pendekatan deskriptif kuantatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan
untuk melengkapi penjelasan hasil penelitian secara kuantitatif.Fokus penelitian
adalah kinerja guruMatematika SMP bersertifikat pendidikdalam proses
pembelajaran di kelas yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran,
dan penilaian pembelajaran, sesuai dengan standar proses dalam kurikulum tingkat
satuan pendidikan. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru Matematika SMP
bersertifikat pendidikdi Kabupaten Bantul. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan
Maret-Mei 2015. Sekolah yang menjadi sampel penelitian ini adalah SMP Negeri
1 Jetis, SMP Negeri 1 Piyungan, SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu, SMP Negeri 1
Bambanglipuro, SMP Negeri 1 Sewon, dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak
25 orang guru Matematika yang sudah disertifikasi dan mendapat tunjangan

profesi.Teknik penentuan besaran sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random
sampling. Sampelpeserta didiksebanyak 1065 orang ditentukandengan
teknikpropotional random sampling.Pengumpulan data kuantitatif dilakukan
dengan menggunakan instrumen angket, instrumen telaah dokumen untuk
dokumen perencanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran.Pengumpulan data kualitatif
dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan insrumen pedoman
wawancara.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif.
Hasil penelitian dari 25 orang guru menunjukkanbahwa kinerja guru
Matematika SMP bersertifikat pendidik di Kabupaten Bantul dalam perencanaan
pembelajaran tergolong baik dengan persentase sebesar 64%. Kinerja guru
Matematika SMP bersertifikat pendidik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran
tergolong sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 68%, dan kinerja guru
Matematika SMP bersertifikat pendidikdalam penilaian pembelajaran tergolong
baik dengan persentase sebesar 76%.

The aim of this research is to describe the performance in the
Mathematicsof certified teachers of junior high schools in Bantul Regency based
on the teaching process they do, in their duty and obligation as teachers. The
teaching process in classroom based on teaching plan, teaching process, and
learning assessment.
This study is evaluative research, using descriptive, quantitative, and
qualitative methods.The qualitative approachwas used to explain the quantitative
results. The focus of this research is the performance in the Mathematicscertified
teachers’ in Bantul Regency, especially their performance in teaching process
based on the standard process in the school curriculum (KTSP). The population
consisted of certified Mathematics teachers of junior high schools in Bantul
Regency. This research was conducted between from March to May 2015. The
sample schools were State Junior High School 1 Jetis, State Junior High School 1
Piyungan, State Junior High School 1 Sedayu, State Junior High School
Bambanglipuro, State Junior High School 1 Sewon. The research subjectswere 25
certified mathematics teachers who had certifying incentiveand they
wereestablished as the sample by using the cluster random sampling technique. A
sample of 1.065 studentswas established using the propotional random sampling
technique. The quantitave technique of data collection used wasa questionnaire
and lesson plan and assessmentdocument. The qualitative technique of data

colletionwas close interview with some questions. The data analysis technique
used was descriptive statistic analysis based on frequency and percentage.
The result shows that he performance in the certified Mathematics
teachers in Bantul Regency in teaching plan is good with percentage 64 %. The
teaching processis very good with percentage 68 %, andthe learningassessmentis
good with percentage 76%.
