PROSES PEMBUATAN BIODIESEL DARI BAHAN BAKU
MESOKARP BUAH SAWIT SECARA ENZIMATIS

ABSTRAK

Pada pembuatan Biodiesel secara enzymatic dengan menggunakan enzime
novozym dan dengan menggunakan pelarut yang berbeda dimana dengan pelarut
DMC,methanol dan etanol,proses dilakukan dengan maserasi dengan penambahan
enzyme dan bahan baku mesokarp buah sawit dan pelarut dengan perbandingan
1;3 dan di diamkan dalam water bath selama 24 jam, selanjutnya biodiesel
disaring dengan menggunakan syringe filter untuk memeisahkan antara filtrate
dan residu dan diikuti dengan evavorasi produk dengan menggunakan rotary
vacuum evavorator, sehingga akan didapat produk dari masing masing pelarut.
Dan di dapat analisis yang terbaik pada pelarut DMC dan methanol. Hasil analisis
yang di dapat dari pelarut DMC 83,2951 metanol 85,598. Hasilnya pada produk
biodiesel yang didapat kurang baik dikarenakan kemurnian biodiesel tidak sesuai
dengan hasil standart yang telah di tetapkan.

ABSTRACT

In making Biodiesel is enzymatis using enzyme novozym and by using
different solvents where the solvent DMC, methanol and ethanol, the
process is done by maceration with the addition of enzyme and raw
materials mesocarp oil and solvents with a ratio of 1; 3 and let stand in a
water bath for 24 hours, then biodiesel is filtered using a syringe filter to
between the filtrate and the residue, followed by evavorasi products using
a rotary vacuum evavorator, so that the product will be obtained from each
solvent. And obtained the best analysis on the solvent DMC and methanol.
The results of the analysis obtained from the solvent DMC
83.2951methanol 85.598. The result is the product of biodiesel obtained
less well due to the purity of biodiesel is not in accordance with the results
of a standard that has been set.
