CHAPTER I

The extension of language is very important for our life. The people use
the language to communicate between them, and to express their ideas,
feeling, emotions and knowledges to others in order to understand what they

People’s choice of language will identify certain group in society.
The function of language as a means of communication and interaction,

neighborhoods, but also in other sectors especially in their activities, which are
related to their work, business, profession and other occupations. As we know,
there are many professions in our life, likes surgeons, airlines pilots, bank
managers, sales clerks, and jazz fans. Although they live in the same society,
but some of them needs interaction between their each communities to build
good communication and relationship.
May be some people are unaware if sometimes they use the specific

terms to make their communication and interaction easier. For example, the

the same profession, and it can not be understood by other society, because it
shows differences from other society outside them. This communication
process can be called register. Register is the range of vocabulary, grammar,
