self esteem siswa korban bullying di sekolah (Studi quasi eksperimen kelas
VIII di SMPN 1 Purwadadi).
Perkembangan self esteem dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan baik keluarga maupun
sekolah. Di sekolah terjadi peristiwa bullying yang berdampak pada korban baik
fisik maupun psikisnya. Peristiwa bullying di SMPN 1 Purwadadi termasuk tinggi
dan berdampak kepada self esteem siswa. Kategori self esteem siswa korban
bullying di sekolah SMPN 1 Purwadadi sebanyak 29 siswa termasuk self esteem
rendah. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh metode role playing
terhadap self esteem siswa korban bullying di sekolah kelas VIII di SMPN 1
Purwadadi. Pendekatan penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif
dengan desain quasi eksperimen. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan
perangkat lunak Ms. Excel dan SPSS (Statistic Program For Social and Scinece).
Hasil penulisaan menunjukan bahwa gambaran umum korban bullying di sekolah
SMPN 1 Purwadadi termasuk pada Kategori tinggi dengan presentase sebanyak 41
%. Adapun gambaran self esteem siswa korban bullying di sekolah berada pada
tingkat sedang sebanyak 52 %. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan terdapat
perbedaan pengaruh self esteem korban bullying kelompok eksperimen dan
kontrol secara signifikan sebesar 0,013. Perubahan kualitas peningkatan self esteem
pada kelompok eksperimen berdasarkan uji gain sebesar 0, 34 berada pada tingkat
sedang. Dengan demikian, role playing dapat menanggulangi korban bullying di
sekolah, sehingga akhirnya dapat juga mewujudkan iklim lingkungan sekolah yang
efektif untuk peroses pembelajaran.

Self-esteem development is influenced by both family and school environment.
There can be bullying activites happen at school that will affect the victims
phisically and mentally. The number of bullying phenomena in SMPN 1 Purwadadi
is considered high and it affects students’ self-esteem. The self-esteem of 29
bullied students is categorized as low self-esteem. This study aims to examine the
effect of role playing method toward self-esteem of bullied students of grade VIII
in SMPN 1 Purwadadi. The researcher uses quantitative approach and quasiexperimental design. The analysis is carried out by using Microsoft Excel and
SPSS (Statistic Program for Social and Scinece). The result of the study shows the
general description of bullying victims in SMPN 1 Purwadadi which is categorized
as high with 41 % in percentage. Self-esteem of the victims is in the middle level,
52 %. According to the data analysis, the researcher finds that there is significant
difference of self-esteem influnce between bullying victims in experimental group
and control group. It is 0,013 in number. The change of self-esteem development
quality in experimental group according to gain test is 0,34; it is in the mid level.
Therefore, role playing can cope with being bullied at school, and eventually can
also realize an effective school climate for learning.
