Analisis Pengaruh Slice Thickness Terhadap Citra CT Scan Dengan Kasus Sinus Paranasal Pengguna Gigi Palsu Implan

ABSTRAK
Artefak adalah suatu gangguan pada tampilan citra CT Scan. Telah dilakukan
suatu penelitian tentang analisis pengaruh slice thickness terhadap citra CT Scan
dengan kasus sinus paranasal pengguna gigi palsu implan. Slice thickness yang
digunakan adalah 1,3,5,dan 7 mm. Penelitian dilakukan di Unit Radiologi Rumah
Sakit Pirngadi Medan. Dari hasil penelitian di dapat bahwa slice thickness 1mm
yaitu 3,18D diperoleh gambaran artefak semakin besar, slice thickness 7 mm yaitu
2,54D diperoleh gambaran artefak semakin berkurang (sedikit ) dan ukuran slice
thickness 7 mm akan menghasilkan gambaran citra CT Scan sinus paranasal
dengan detail yang rendah, sedangkan ukuran slice thickness 1 mm akan
menghasilkan gambaran dengan detail yang tinggi.

ABSTRACT
Artifacts is a disturbance in the image display CT Scan . Has conducted a study on
the analysis of effect image slice thickness CT Scan with cases of paranasal sinus

users dentures implan. Slice thickness used is 1, 3, 5 and 7 mm. The riset in
Radiology Pirngadi Hospital Medan. The results of research that the slice
thickness of 1mm is 3,18D obtained a description of the larger artifacts, slice
thickness 7 mm is 2,54D obtained a description of the artifacts on the wane ( a
little ) and the size of the slice thickness 7 mm produced a picture image with a
CT Scan of the paranasal sinuses low detail, while the size of the slice thickness
of 1 mm will produce a picture with high detail.
