Respon Pemberian Pupuk Cair Urin Sapi Fermentasi MOL Buah terhadap Peningkatan Produktivitas dan Serapan N Rumput Gajah (Pennisetum purpureum )

MOL Buah Terhadap Peningkatan Produktivitas dan Serapan N Rumput Gajah
(Pennisetum purpureum). Dibimbing oleh NEVY DIANA HANAFI dan
ISKANDAR SEMBIRING.
Pemanfaatan limbah peternakan sebagai pupuk organik diharapkan dapat
membantu masyarakat karena memiliki nilai ekonomis, disamping itu kualitas dan
kandungan unsur hara pupuk organik ini sangat bagus. Penelitian dilakukan di
lahan percobaan Unit Penelitian Departemen Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian
Universitas Sumatera Utara pada bulan April – Agustus 2016 menggunakan
Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari
P0: kontrol (tanpa urin), P1: 50 ml pupuk cair urin sapi fermentasi, P2: 100 ml
pupuk cair urin sapi fermentasi, P3: 150 ml pupuk cair urin sapi fermentasi.
Parameter yang diamati adalah Tinggi tanaman, Jumlah anakan, Produksi segar,
Produksi Kering, Serapan N.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pupuk cair urin sapi
fermentasi menggunakan dosis 150 ml/pot tanaman mampu meningkatkan
produktivitas rumput gajah (Pennisetum purpureum) yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah
anakan, produksi segar, produksi kering, dan serapan N tanaman.

ABSTRACT

RINA MARIANA, 2016 : The Responses of Fertilizing Ox Urine Fermentation by
Local Microorganism for Increasing the Productivity and Absorption of Nitrogen
of Napier Grass (Pennistum purpureum). Supervised by NEVY DIANA HANAFI
and ISKANDAR SEMBIRING.
Livestock waste utilization as organic fertilizer is expected to help
community as an economic value, in addition to the quality and nutrient content of
organic fertilizers is very good. The study was conducted experiment research
Unit of the Departetment of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Agriculture, University
of North Sumatera in April – August 2016. The designt in this research used
completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications.
Treatments were consisted of P0 : control, P1: 50 ml fertilizing ox urine
fermentation, P2: 100 ml fertilizing ox urine fermentation, P3: 150 ml fertilizing
ox urine fermentation. The observed parameters are Height of Plants, Number of
Tillers, Fresh Materials Production, Dry Materials Production, The Absorption of

Nitrogen.
The result showed fertilizing Ox Urine Fermentation using dosis 150
ml/pot plants that can increase the productivity of Napier Grass (Pennistum
purpureum). Those are Height of Plants, Number of Tillers, Fresh Materials
Production, Dry Materials Production, The Absorption of Nitrogen.
