ABSTRACT
IRFAN MUSTAQIM : Morphological diversity and soybean plant genotipe
(glycine max L. Merril) iradiasi gamma beam result at M2 Generation.

The aim of the research was to know the character morphological and
genotype of soybean plant (glycine max L. Merril). The research was conducted at
experimental field of college of Agriculture USU (± 25 m asl) in November 2014february 2015. M2 seed obtoinable from the research previous with used
Anjasmoro variety result to the gamma irradiation.
The result showed that the gamma at M2 generetion dose : 100 Gy, 200
Gy and 300 Gy affected the character the time of flowering,the time of
harves,plant height, the number of branches, the number of pods, the number of
seeds, seed weigth per plant, weigth of 100 seeds. At 100 Gy population number
of productivity the plant more increasing and at 300 Gy time of flowering
become the longer.

Kedelai (Glycine max L. Merril) Hasil Iradiasi Sinar Gamma Pada Genererasi
M2, dibimbing oleh Eva Sartini Bayu dan Isman Nuriadi.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakter morfologi dan
genotif tanaman kedelai.Penelitian ini dilakukan dilahan percobaan Fakultas
Pertanian USU (± 25 meter dpl) pada bulan november 2014-februari 2015. Benih
M2 diperoleh dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan menggunakan varietas
anjasmoro hasil iradiasi sinar gamma.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iradiasi sinar gamma pada generasi
M2 dosis 100 Gy, 200 Gy dan 300 Gy mempengaruhi karakter umur berbunga,
umur panen, tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah polong,jumlah
biji,bobot biji pertanaman,bobot 100 biji. Pada populasi 100 Gy jumlah
produktivitas tanaman semakin meningkat dan pada populasi 300 Gy umur
berbunga menjadi semakin lama.
