Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Keberhasilan Prestasi Belajar Mata Pelajaran Matematika Pada Siswa SMA Negeri Bunga Bangsa Kabupaten Nagan Raya

ABSTRAK
Analisis faktor adalah satu teknik analisis data yang ditujukan untuk mereduksi
sejumlah variabel menjadi beberapa kelompok lebih kecil yang disebut sebagai
faktor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang
mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mata pelajaran matematika menggunakan analisis
faktor. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster sampling.
Variabel yang digunakan sebanyak 25. Dari data yang diperoleh dilakukan uji
validitas dan reliabilitas serta analisis faktor menggunakan software SPSS 18.0 for
windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga variabel yang tidak
valid dan harus dikeluarkan dari analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh
sembilan faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar mata pelajaran
matematika yaitu faktor guru mengajar (18,09%), faktor perhatian siswa pada saat
guru mengajar (10,60%), faktor motivasi orang tua (8,78%), faktor kedisiplinan
waktu mengumpulkan tugas (6,86%), faktor Ketertarikan siswa terhadap mata
pelajaran matematika (6,35%), faktor Hubungan antar anggota keluarga (5,86%),
faktor cara siswa menyelesaikan tugas (5,07%), faktor nilai pelajaran siswa
(4,42%), dan faktor sikap orang tua (4,10%). Kesembilan faktor tersebut
memberikan proporsi keragaman kumulatif sebesar 70,12% artinya kesembilan
faktor tersebut merupakan faktor dominan dan sisanya dapat dipengaruhi faktorfaktor lainnya yang tidak teridentifikasi oleh penelitian.

factor of the student interest about Mathematics (6,35%), factor of relationship
between family members (5,86%), factor of the student ways to finish the task
(5,07%), factor of the student values (4,42%), and factor of parent’s behaviour
(4,10%). The nine factors were giving the diversity of gasoline at 70,12% means
the nine factors is a dominant factor and the rest of it can be influenced by factors
others were not identified by research.
