ANALISISIS KOMPONEN SENYAWA KIMIA DAN UJI AKTIVITAS
ANTIBAKTERI MINYAK ATSIRI DAUN ZODIA
(Euodia hortensis J.R & G.Forst)

ABSTRAK
Minyak atsiri daun zodia (Euodia hortensis J.R & G.Forst) diisolasi dengan metode
hidrodestilasi menggunakan alat Stahl. Daun zodia didestilasi selama ± 4-5 jam
menghasilkan minyak atsiri sebesar 0,60 %. Komponen utama minyak atsiri daun
zodia yang dianalisis menggunakan GC-MS menunjukkan ada 16 senyawa dan
komponen yang dapat disesuaikan dengan standart library wiley dan library nist hanya
sebanyak 10 senyawa yaitu Menthofuran (40,54%), 4(5H)-Benzofuranone (20,70%),
Limonene (18,31%), 1(7),8(10)-p-Metadien-9-ol (8,56%), Epiglobulol (3,26%), 2(3H)Naftalenone (1,25%), Mint Furanon (1,10%), 3,5-Octadiene,4,5-diethyl (1,10%),
Perilil alkohol (1,09%) dan 4-Hidroksi-beta-ionon (1,03%). Uji aktivitas antibakteri
dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar dengan konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, 10% v/v
dalam pelarut DMSO terhadap bakteri Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa dan Shigella dysentriae yang menunjukkan adanya aktivitas
antibakteri yang ditandai dengan terbentuknya zona hambat, dimana semakin tinggi
konsentrasi yang diujikan semakin luas zona hambat yang terbentuk.

(Euodia hortensis J.G & G.Forst)

ABSTRACT

Zodia leaf essential oil (Euodia hortensis J.G & G.Forst) was isolated by using a
method hidrodestillation Sthal. Leaves zodia in destillation for ± 4-5 hours resulting
essential oil amount 0,60%. Chemical components of the leaf essential oil zodia
analyzed using GC-MS showed there were 16 compounds and components adapted to
the standar library wiley and library nist only 10 main compounds is Menthofuran
(40,54%), 4(5H)-Benzofuranone (20,70), Limonene (18,31%), 1(7),8(10)-p-Metadien9-ol (8,56%), Epiglobulol (3,26%), 2(3H)-Naphthalenone (1,25%), Mint Furanone
(1,10%), 3,5-Octadiene,4,5-diethyl (1,10%), Perillyl alkohol (1,09%) and 4-Hydroxybeta-ionone (1,03%). Antibacterial activity test using by agar diffusion method in
2,5%, 5%, 7,5%, and 10% v/v the essential oil in DMSO solvent concentration to the
Bacillus aureus,S taphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa dan Shigella
dysentriae bacteria showed antibacterial activity were characterized a retardation area.
If concentration seems higher area of retardation area will be wider.
