PENGARUH PROSES PENGEPRESAN TERHADAP
PERSENTASE KEHILANGAN MINYAK KELAPA SAWIT PADA
AMPAS PKS DOLOK ILIR

ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan pengamatan pengaruh proses pengepresan terhadap persentase
kehilangan minyak kelapa sawit pada ampas press PKS Dolok Ilir. Oleh karena
pengepresan ini sangat mempengaruhi mutu dari minyak kelapa sawit. Proses
pengepresan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh tipe screw press, tekanan kerja screw press,
dan air pengencer. Persentase kehilangan minyak kelapa sawit pada proses
pengepresan pada ampas press yang didapat dari serat yaitu 2,82 - 3,62 % dimana
nilai tersebut diambil dari persentase minyak yang kering yang tidak mengandung
air.Norma kehilangan minyak yang diijinkan dalam stasiun kempa (press) di pabrik
pada serat yaitu 4,00 - 6,00 % .

PRESSING INFLUENCE THE PROCESS AGAINST THE PERCENTAGE

LOSS OF PALM OIL OF THE PULP PRESS PKS SEI MANGKEI

ABSTRACT

Has made observation on the effect of the pressing process percentage loss of palm
oil in the pulp press Dolok Ilir. Hence the pressing this greatly affects the quality of
palm oil. The pressing process is influenced by the type of screw press, screw press
working pressure, and dilution water. Percentage loss of palm oil in the pressing
process the press dregs obtained from the fiber is 2.82 - 3.62% where the value is
taken from the percentage of dry oil that contains no water. Norma loss of oil are
allowed in the station felts (press) at the fiber is 4.00 - 6.00%.
