KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS IKAN DI ALIRAN SUNGAI BAH BOLON,
KABUPATEN SIMALUNGUN

ABSTRAK

Keanekaragaman ikan di aliran Sungai Bah Bolon, Kabupaten Simalungun telah diteliti
pada Juli 2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keanekaragaman ikan serta
hubungannya dengan faktor fisik kimia air. Penentuan titik lokasi penelitian
menggunakan metode “Purposive Sampling”. Sebelas spesies ikan yang diperolehdari
lokasi pengamatan diklasifikasikan ke dalam 3 ordo (Cypriniformes, Perciformes dan
Siluriformes). Keanekaragaman tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 3 dengan nilai 1,57
ind/m2 dan terendah pada stasiun 4 dengan nilai 1,35 ind/m2. Suhu, intensitas cahaya,
penetrasi cahaya, kekeruhan, dan pH memiliki nilai korelasi yang sangat kuat terhadap
keanekaragaman ikan.

THE DIVERSITY OF FISH IN BAH BOLON RIVER, DISTRICT OF
SIMALUNGUN

ABSTRACT

The diversity of fish in the river flow Bah Bolon, district of Simalungun has been
observed in July 2016. The purpose of this study was to analyze the diversity of fish and
its relationship to physical and chemistry factors of water. Determining the location of the
point of the study using the "purposive sampling". Eleven species of fish that obtained
from observation sites are classified into three ordos (Cypriniformes, Perciformes and
Siluriformes). The highest diversity was found in Station 3 with a value of 1.57 ind/m2
and the lowest at station 4 with a value of 1.35 ind/m2. Temperature, light intensity, light
penetration, turbidity and pH value the correlation is very strong against the diversity of
fish.
