SUNGAI BAH TONGGURAN KECAMATAN TANAH JAWA
KABUPATEN SIMALUNGUN

ABSTRAK
Keanekaragaman Makrozoobentos Di Hilir Sungai Bah Tongguran Kecamatan
Tanah Jawa Kabupaten Simalungun telah diteliti pada bulan Juni sampai
September 2016. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui
keanekaragaman makrozoobentos sebagai bioindikator di Sungai Bah Tongguran
serta menentukan kualitas perairan sungai berdasarkan sifat fisika-kimia yang
dimilikinya.Titik pengambilan sampel ditentukan dengan metode Purposive
Sampling. Sampel diambil menggunakan surber net kemudian diidentifikasi di
Laboratorium PSDAL Departemen Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu
Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan. Makrozoobentos yang
didapatkan terdiri dari tiga filum, lima kelas, delapan ordo, 13 famili dan 14 genus.
Nilai Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’) makrozoobentos tertinggi didapati pada
stasiun III sebesar 1,89 dan terendah pada stasiun I sebesar 1,46.

THE DIVERSITY OF MACROZOOBENTHOS IN
DOWNSTREAM OF BAH TONGGURAN RIVER
SUBDISTRICT OF TANAH JAWA DISTRICT OF
SIMALUNGUN NORTH SUMATERA

ABSTRACT
The Diversity of Macrozoobenthos in Downstream of Bah Tongguran River
Subdistrict Of Tanah Jawa District Of Simalungun North Sumatera has been
observed from July to September 2016. The purpose of this study was to
determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos as bioindicator in Bah Tongguran
River and to determine the river quality level in relation to phisical-chemical of
the river. The study was designed according to purposive sampling method.
Surber net was used to taken the sampel. Sampels were identified in PSDAL
Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences
of North Sumatera University. The result showed that three phylum, five clases,
eight ordo, thirteen family and fourteen genera. The highest Index Diversity (H’)
was founded at the 3rd station with 1,89 and the lowest value was founded at the
1st station with 1,46.
