Hidroponik Tanaman Sayuran Sawi Beda Varietas Dengan Formulasi Nurtisi Ab Mix Dan Formulasi Racikan

ABSTRAK
Vyvian W. Siagian, meneliti “Hidroponik Tanaman Sayuran Sawi Beda
Varietas dengan Formulasi Nutrisi AB Mix dan Formulasi Racikan”, dibawah
bimbingan Ir. Bintang, MP. dan Ir. Fauzi, MP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat
perbandingan hasil produksi hidroponik tanaman sayuran sawi
( Brassica juncea )
yang berbeda varietas dengan nutrisi AB Mix dan nutrisi racikan sendiri. Lokasi
penelitian di Kompleks Citra Arkadia Jl. Bunga Wijaya Padang Bulan, Medan pada
bulan Juni 2015 sampai dengan September 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan
rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan 3 perlakuan dan 2 ulangan yaitu perlakuan
varietas dengan 3 taraf yang terdiri atas varietas tosakan, shinta dan caisim; perlakuan
larutan nutrisi yang terdiri atas larutan nutrisi AB Mix dan racikan; perlakuan timer
yang terdiri atas non timer dan timer.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa varietas shinta berpengaruh nyata
terhadap tinggi tanaman (4 MST) dan jumlah daun (4 MST dan 6 MST), nutrisi
racikan berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun (6 MST) dan perlakuan lain tidak
berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (3 MST dan 6 MST) dan jumlah daun (3
MST). Pada tiap perlakuan berbeda nyata terhadap bobot tajuk namun tidak berbeda
nyata terhadap panjang akar dan bobot segar.

ABSTRACT
Vyvian W Siagian, research “Hydroponics of Mustard Vegetable Crops
Different Varieties with AB Mix Nutrient and Self-made Nutrient Formulation”,
supervised by Ir. Bintang, MP and Ir. Fauzi, MP. This research is aimed to find a
differences production from hydroponics of mustard vegetable crops which is have a
different varity within AB Mix nutrient and self-made nutrient formulation. It was
located at Kompleks Citra Arkadia Jl. Bunga Wijaya Padang Bulan, Medan on June
2015 until September 2015. This research used the randomized block design with
three treatments and two replications that is variety treatment with three extent
consisting of Tosakan, Shinta, and Caisim; nutrient treatment consisting of AB Mix
nutrient and self-made nutrient; timer treatment consisting of non-timer and timer.
The result showed that Shinta variety significantly affected on plant height (4
weeks after planting) and number of leaves (4 and 6 weeks after planting), self-made
nutrient siginificantly affected on number of leaves (6 weeks after planting) and
another treatment were not siginificantly affected on plant height (3 and 6 weeks
after planting) and number of leaves (3 weeks after planting). In every treatment
significantly affected on shoot weight however were not significantly affected on root

length and fresh plant weight.
