Penelitian mengenai “Indeks Kumulatif Ukuran-Ukuran Tubuh Dan Bobot
Badan Domba Komposit Betina Dewasa Sebagai Domba Pedaging (Study Kasus
Di Kandang Percobaan Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran)” telah
dilaksanakan pada 27-30 November 2012. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui berapa nilai indeks kumulatif ukuran-ukuran tubuh dan bobot badan
domba komposit yang ada di Kandang Percobaan Fakultas Peternakan
Universitas Padjadjaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif
untuk 17 ekor domba betina dewasa masing-masing umur 1 tahun 8 ekor, 2
tahun 7 ekor dan 3 tahun 2 ekor. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ukuran tubuh
dan nilai index ternak komposit tertinggi ada pada umur 3 tahun, dengan hasil
pengukuran rata-rata bobot badan 47 kg, panjang badan 72,5 cm, lebar pinggul
23 cm, lebar dada 20,5 cm, tinggi pundak 72 cm, tinggi pinggang 70 cm, dalam
dada 34 cm, dan panjang pinggang 70 cm. Untuk nilai index, rata-rata width
slope 1,07; foreleg index 38; balance 0,77; namun untuk nilai weight 61447;
height slope 2,25; length index 1,07; depth index 0,49 pada domba komposit
yang berumur 2 tahun. Untuk cumulative index tertinggi pada domba komposit 3
tahun yaitu 2,78 dan indeks tertinggi 3,19 yang diperoleh dari domba yang
berumur 1 tahun.

ABSTRACT
Research on the " Cumulative Index of Body Size and Body Weight a
Composite Ewe Mutton as Sheep Meat (Case in Breeding Station of Animal
Husbandry Padjadjaran University)" was held in 27-30 November 2012. The
purpose of this study was to determine how the value of the cumulative index and
measures of body weight in the composite sheep breeding station of animal
husbandry padjadjaran university. The research method used is descriptive for 17
adult female sheep each age 1 year 8 tails, 7 tails 2 years and 3 years 2 tails.
The result showed that the size and value of the composite sheep index was
highest at the age of 3 years, with an average measurement of body weight 47
kg, body length 72,5 cm, hip width 23 cm, chest width 20.5 cm, wither height 72
cm, rump height 70 cm, chest depth 34 cm and rump length 70 cm. For index
values, the average width slope 1,07; foreleg index 38; Balance 0.77; yet to value
