ABSTRACT
Investors have several consideration related to their investment decision. The purpose of this
study was to determine the owner personality type of the big five personality types
(neuroticsm, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness ),
Risk Preference, and it relationship to company (CV. Kompo Motor) performance. In this
study , the data obtained using interview and questionnaire. The study is kind of descriptive
qualitiative research. The sampel in this study is Owner of CV. Kompo Motor Purbingga
(investor). Based on the analysis of data , it can be concluded that the investors has
combination from two type of personality (extraversion and openess to the experience).
Subject also has high risk preference which known from the coruage in making investment by
opening branch in several part of Banyumas area and Wonosobo. Furthermore, based on
type personality and risk preference of the owner and also some beneficial external factors
(such as technology, market, and social situation), company performance increases
significantly (in sales and ROI value enhancement).
