1. Opening 3 minutes a Teacher greets the students b Teacher checks students’ attendance. c The teacher asks several questions to the students randomly about the picture.PPT d The teacher tells the students that they will learn about descriptive text. 2. While Teaching 75 minutes a Observing - Students read the descriptive text which is given by the teacher. - Teacher checks the students’ comprehension. Activity 1 b Questioning - Students ask the teacher about the social function and the generic structure of descriptive text. c Collecting Information 67 - The teacher shows a slide contain of some vocabularies related to physical appearance. Blonde, black, brown hair, fair and black skin, flat and pointed nose, etc d Associating - The students are divided into pairs. - The teacher distributes worksheets to the students. Activity 2 - From the worksheet, the students have to match between the text and the picture. e Communicating - The students work individually.Activity 3 - The teacher distributes a worksheet of jumbled sentences. - The students have to put it in order. 3. Closing2 minutes a Teacher reviews the materials by asking students what they have learned today. b Teacher closes the lesson by praying together.
