Pada dasarnya komunikasi tidak akan pernah lepas dari kehidupan seharihari dalam pencapaian tujuan baik tujuan individu maupun pencapaian tujuan
dalam organisasi. Organisasi tidak hanya semata-mata mengejar pencapaian
produktivitas yang tinggi saja, tetapi juga lebih memperhatikan kinerja dalam
proses pencapaiannya. Untuk meningkan kinerja anggota maka dibutuhkan sebuah
komunikasi secara efektif dalam organisasi karena komunikasi berperan sangat
penting dalam suatu interaksi sosial dimana komunikasi merupakan aktifitas dasar
manusia yang berperan sebagai penggerak manusia lain sehingga terjalin
hubungan kerjasama tim dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi.
Penelitian ini menguji beberapa faktor yang secara teoritis memiliki
pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja anggota, yaitu komunikasi formal,
komunikasi informal dan kerjasama tim. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk
menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi formal terhadap kerjasama tim, pengaruh
komunikasi informal terhadap kerjasama tim, pengaruh komunikasi formal
terhadap

peningkatan

kinerja,

pengaruh

komunikasi

terhadap

peningkatan kinerja, dan pengaruh kerjasama tim terhadap peningkatan kinerja.
Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara
menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 120 anggota polri pada Kantor Polisi Resort
Banyuwangi. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya menggunakan Simple Random
Sampling dan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling
(SEM). Structural Equation Modeling merupakan alat analisis yang tepat untuk
menganalisis variabel-variabel tidak terukur (variabel laten).
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel komunikasi formal

formal juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja dengan nilai 1
= + 1.651 dan probabilitas signifikansi 0.000, adanya

pemahaman terhadap

peraturan/kebijakan dan pemikiran, pemahaman terhadap petunjuk pelaksanan,
kontribusi ide dalam organisasi, dan komunikasi formal dalam rapat koordinasi
dapat memudahkan anggota polri dalam menjalankan tugas sehingga dapat terjadi
peningkatan kinerja. Selain komunikasi formal, komunikasi informal juga
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja dengan nilai 2 = + 0.835
dan probabilitas signifikansi 0.005, agar kerjasama tim tetap bisa berjalan dengan
baik diperlukan adanya dukungan sesama anggota terhadap ide, kepercayaan dari
atasan dan sesama anggota, respon terhadap keluhan sesama anggota, serta
harmonisasi dalam komunikasi informal. Dalam penelitian ini variabel kerjasama
tim juga mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja secara signifikan dengan nilai 3 = +
0.649 dan probabilitas siginifikansi 0,004, kematangan emosional yang stabil
untuk membangun kerjasama tim, perlunya mendahulukan kepentingan utama
untuk organisasi, perlunya identitas diri yang kuat dalam organisasi, perlunya
kompetensi sosial untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan sesama anggota, kepercayaan
dan optimis bahwa bisa tercipta kerjasama tim, penciptaan sinergi, serta
keterpaduan dan kebersamaan dalam organisasi dapat memberi pengaruh pada
peningkatan kinerja yang meliputi kualitas kerja, kuantitas kerja yang dihasilkan,
ketepatan waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas, efektifitas kerja, kemandirian dalam
menjalankan tugas, dan komitmen dalam organisasi.
