The researcher designed the questionnaire within in the scope of three reading interests. For example, finding the form of reading exercises design was
in statements number 1 up to 10, using weblog as the online learning media for reading exercises was in statements number 3 and 5, and the use of Hot-Potatoes
as the main program in reading exercises design was in statements number 7 and 10. The analysis of data questionnaire will be discussed in narrative description as
follows. First, this research found that 69.29 students agreed in statement number 1. This result made the design of this research was in accordance with
academic subject matters. Second, this research found that 55.11 students agreed in statement number 2. The researcher should design the vocabulary
exercises at first in each unit. Third, the data result showed 64.56 students agreed in statement number 3. The researcher should ask the students to be more
active although the design using online learning media. Thus, the reading exercises will design as student-centered within more exercises rather than lesson
materials. Fourth, there were 53.54 students who agreed in statement number 4.
45 This research found that 53.54 students expected the design by using pictures so
that the students may get better understanding what the text is about. Fifth, the data result showed that 37.79 students agreed in statement number 5 about the
use of weblog as the online learning media. Some students preferred to browse material and do the exercises online to improve their understanding in some
academic subjects. Sixth, there were 59.84 students who agreed that the design must attach the syllabus so that the students know what they learn are about and
the target lesson after finishing the exercises. Seventh, there were 66.14 students agreed in statement number 7. Thus, the vocabulary exercises were designed in
form of matching tasks and crossword puzzles. Eight, this research found that 75.59 students agreed in statement number 8 that the given exercises should in
accordance with students‟ daily activities. Ninth, this research found that 70.86 students agreed in statement number 9 about the exercises design in forms of
picture-cued items. Last, the data showed that 59.05 students agreed in statement number 10. The design of the reading exercises were in form of
multiple choices, matching tasks, and crossword puzzles. Indeed, the data questionnaire showed that more students chose agree parts agree-strongly agree
rather than in disagree parts disagree-strongly disagree as seen in the Table 11 above.
In conclusion, the reading exercises were designed according to the data interview and questionnaire which will be presenting and discussing in the second
