The forth blueprint relates with the concept operationalization for authentic tasks. They are essential as part of another research instrument used in the study. It is significant for the researcher to select appropriate tasks that are relevant with the study. Understanding the basic principles authentic tasks leads to accomplishing the goals of the study.

They are used to have comprehension about what to assess when evaluating the participants‘ authentic tasks.
