In the first post test, the office administration class played the role as the experimental class, which experienced the application of induction and closure
technique. From the result above, the researcher found out the class average by using the formula stated previously:
Class Average after Post-Test 1 = 114.2 = 6.01 = beginner 19
In the pre test, this class was identified to have beginner mastery level of
English, with class average score was 5.57. After the application of the induction and closure technique, this class’ average point increased from 5.57 to 6.01.
However, the average score still could not move the students to the next level of English and they would still be considered to be in beginner level.
The following chart shows how the class average score generally slightly increased from the pre-test after the class experienced the treatment as the
experimental class:

The accounting class, in the first turn, played the role as the control class and did not experience the application of induction and closure technique. From
the result above, the researcher found out the class average by using the formula stated previously:
Class Average after Post-Test 1 = 200.2 = 6.46 = beginner 31
The students in this class were considered to be better than the other class since in the pre test their class average score was 6.65, although that average score
was also considered as still in the beginner level. The absence of induction of closure seemed to give negative effect to the students’ mastery towards the
materials they learned. The average score of the accounting class students in the first post-test was 6.46. This score decreased from their pre-test average score,
which was 6.65. The following is the pre-test and post-test 1 result for the control class
presented in a chart showing how most of the students’ scores in this class decreased:

3 The comparison of the post-test 1 result between the two classes: From the results above, the researcher compared them in order to see how
the treatment affected the two classes. In term of class average, the comparison between the two classes could be generated from the following chart:

From the chart above, we could see the office administration class, which was in the pre-test had a worse class average, got closer class average to the
accounting class. This shows that as the experimental class, which experienced the application of induction and closure technique, the office administration class
showed a little progress in their learning.
b. Post Test 2
The second post was conducted in the last three meetings with the exchanged roles with the office administration as the control class and the
accounting class as the experimental class. The last two meeting includes the topics of “My Experience,” and “Daily Activities.” The following is the result of
the test: 1 Post-Test 2 for Office Administration Class Control Class
