B. Suggestion
Based on the conclusion above, several suggestions are proposed. They can be stated as follow:
1. English Teacher It is recommended for other English teachers in SMP Paramarta in academic
year 20142015 to use RAFT strategy as an alternative and interactive strategy in teaching writing. It is because RAFT strategy can help the students to write
their descriptive paragraph more focus because they know exactly what is their role as the writers, the audience who will read their writing, the format they
will use and the topic they will write. 2. Students
The students should be more motivated in learning English especially writing because writing is a difficult skill rather than the others. Moreover, the students
have to master many vocabularies and understand grammar if they want to be confident in writing using English. Then, the students must pay attention
during teaching explanation in the class, and they have to do the writing exercise to improve their writing skill.
3. Other researchers There are few researches conducting RAFT strategy, therefore more
researchers are expected to do further investigation in the field related to this research. The future researcher could use this study as a reference, develop the
implementation of RAFT strategy, or combine with other strategy to get better result.
