1.6 Clarification on main terms

There are several terms in this study that needs to be clarified. The definitions of the terms are explained below: 1.6.1 Online games: Online games refer to any type of game that someone can play through the Internet or over a computer network. Most of the time, it refers to video games played over the Internet, where multiple players are in different locations across the world. The online games used in this research are the online vocabulary games which belong to Browser-Based games. Schurman, K. 2015. What is online gaming?. This means that the game can be played from many different types of computers and can often involve many different players at the same time.
