CHAPTER V CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
A. Conclusion
Grammar is difficult subject among students at MTs Al-Ikhwan especially study regular and irregular verbs of simple past tense. It is
important to create suitable techniques related to students‟ condition. The students need to be delivered a technique that makes them intended to learn
actively in learning simple past tense. The study investigates the effectiveness of Jigsaw technique in teaching
simple past tense. An experimental research was used as research design of the study.
Based on the data analysis in chapter IV and the discussion in the previous chapter, the conclusion of the study showed that Ha is accepted and
H is rejected. It means that jigsaw technique is effective to improve students‟
ability in simple past tense. After conducting the research, it can be concluded that shown in the
chapter IV t is 3.43 and t
