Determinan Penggunaan Kondom oleh Pekerja Seks Komersial di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Bandar Baru

ABSTRAK
Jumlah penderita penyakit menular seksual dan HIV/AIDS seperti fenomena
gunung es. Data Profil Kesehatan Kabupaten Deli Serdang tahun 2011 menunjukkan
bahwa jumlah penderita infeksi menular seksual (IMS) sebanyak 2.203 orang. Jumlah
orang yang diidentifikasi HIV sebanyak 73 orang sedangkan jumlah penderita AIDS
sebanyak 78 orang. Data yang diperoleh dari 33 puskesmas se-Kabupaten Deli
Serdang, jumlah penderita HIV/AIDS tertinggi pada tahun 2011 yaitu di Bandar Baru
sebanyak 15 orang
Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik atau explanatory dengan desain cross
sectional yang bertujuan menganalisis determinan penggunaan kondom. Penelitian
dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Bandar Baru. Populasi penelitian sebanyak
84 orang dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis
univariat, analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square, dan analisis multivariat dengan uji
regresi logistik ganda.
Hasil penelitian dengan uji regresi logistik variabel yang berpengaruh
terhadap penggunaan kondom yaitu persepsi (p=0,013), sikap (p=0,032), dan
kenyamanan pelanggan (p=0,0001). Variabel yang paling tinggi pengaruhnya
terhadap penggunaan kondom yaitu kenyamanan pelanggan (OR=35,421), persepsi
(OR=6,674), dan sikap (OR=5,114). Pekerja seks komersial (PSK) dengan persepsi
baik, sikap positif, dan pelanggan merasa nyaman mempunyai peluang menggunakan
kondom sebesar 97,49%.
Saran bagi Kepala Puskesmas Bandar Baru agar membuat kebijakan tentang
program penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan kepada PSK di wilayah kerjanya
dengan meningkatkan frekuensi menjadi 2-4 kali dalam sebulan.

The number of people who are affected by contagious venereal diseases and
HIV/AIDS is like an iceberg phenomenon. The data of health profile in Deli Serdang
District n 2010 indicated that 2,203 people were infected by contagious venereal
diseases. There were 73 people were affected by HIV, and 78 people were affected by
AIDS. The data from 33 puskesmas (community health center) in Deli Serdang
District showed that there were 15 people who were affected by HIV/AIDS at Bandar
Baru in 2011.
The type of the research was analytic or explanatory with cross sectional
design which was aimed to analyze the determinants of using condoms. The research
was conducted in the working area of Bandar Baru Puskesmas. The population was
84 people and all of them were used as the samples. The data were analyzed by using
univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with chi-square test, and with multiple logistic
regression tests.
The result of the research with logistic regression test showed that the
variables which influenced the use of condoms were perception (p=0,013), attitude
(p=0.0032), and customer comfort (p=0,0001). The variables which had the most
dominant influence on the use of condoms were costumer comfort (OR=35.421),
perception (OR=6.674), and attitude (OR=5.114). Prostitutes with good perception,
positive attitude, and customer comfort in using condoms were 97.49%.
It is recommended that the Head of Bandar Baru Puskesmas should make a
policy about counseling and health examination program to the prostitutes in his
working area by increasing the frequency two to four times a month.
