Analisis Keputusan Migrasi Sirkuler Pekerja Sektor Formal di Kota Medan
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat
mempengaruhi keputusan masyarakat yang tinggal di luar kota untuk melakukan
migrasi sirkuler di Kota Medan dengan variabel kondisi sosial yang terdiri dari
umur, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, jumlah tanggungan, status pernikahan
dan fasilitas sosial dan variabel kondisi ekonomi yang terdiri dari jenis pekerjaan,
pendapatan, kepemilikan lahan, moda transportasi, fasilitas umum, jarak dan
lapangan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kondisi
sosial dan ekonomi terhadap keputusan migrasi sirkuler yang dianalisis dengan
menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan
adalah
dengan
snowball
sampling.
Metodepengumpulan
data
dilakukandenganwawancaradankuesioner.
Teknikanalisis
data
menggunakantabeldistribusifrekuensidantabulasisilang(cross tab).
Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan chi-square diketahui bahwa nilai
dalam variabel kondisi sosial, nilai Asymp. Sig usia (0,044) dan fasilitas sosial
(0,032) lebih kecil dari nlai Sig (0,05). Dengan demikian diketahui bahwa terdapat
hubungan antara usia dan fasilitas sosial dengan keputusan migrasi sirkuler
responden. Sedangkan dalam variabel kondisi ekonomi, nilai Asymp. Sig jenis
pekerjaan (0,025) lebih kecil dari nlai Sig (0,05). Dengan demikian diketahui
bahwa terdapat hubungan antara jenis pekerjaan dengan keputusan migrasi
sirkuler.

ABSTRACT
This research conducted to analyze about factors influencing society
decision of who live in beyond the city to migratoion of circular in Medan what
variabel social conditions comprising age, gender, education, number of
dependents, marital status, and social facilities and variabel economic conditions
comprising work type, income levels, the ownership land, transport equipment,
public facilities, distance, and the work. This research aimed to analyze the
influence of social and economic conditions of the circular migration decisions
are analyzed using descriptive statistics. The sampling technic used was to
snowball sampling.this research uses primary data which it will be using
quetioneres and interview. Data analysis technic using frequency tables and
cross tab.
The results of the analysis using the chi-square value in a variable known
that social conditions, the value Asymp. Sig age (0.044) and social facilities
(0,032) is smaller than the value of Sig (0.05). Thus it is known that there is a
relationship between age and social facilities with the decision of the respondent
circular migration. Based on the survey results, revealed that the value in the
variable economic conditions, the value Asymp Sig types of jobs (0,025) is smaller
than the value of Sig (0.05). Thus it is known that there is a relationship between
the type of work with circular migration decisions.
