ABSTRACT
Tujuan dari penulisan Laporan Proyek Akhir ini antara lain pertama untuk
mengetahui jenis bahan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan poros penggiling pada
Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi. Kedua untuk mengetahui mesin dan peralatan yang
digunakan dalam pembuatan poros penggiling pada Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi.
Ketiga untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembuatan poros penggiling pada
Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi. Keempat berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam
proses pembuatan poros penggiling pada Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi.
Dalam pembuatan poros penggiling biji kopi penulis menggunakan
beberapa metode antara lain pertama dengan mengidentifikasi gambar kerja,
gambar kerja yang baik adalah gambar kerja yang dapat memberikan informasi
tentang produk yang akan dikerjakan sehingga mudah dipahami. Kedua dengan
mengidentifikasi bahan, dalam membuat poros penggiling bahan yang digunakan
adalah mild steel. Ketiga dengan mengidentifikasi alat dan mesin yang digunakan,
alat dan mesin yang digunakan antara lain mesin gergaji dan kelengkapannya,
mesin bubut dan kelengkapannya, mesin frais dan kelengkapannya, pahat bubut,
bor senter, senter putar, pisau frais, jangka sorong, mistar baja, palu plastik.
Keempat dengan mengidentifikasi langkah pengerjaan poros penggiling pada
Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi. Kelima dengan cara melakukan proses pembuatan
poros penggiling. Keenam dengan melakukan uji kinerja Mesin Pengupas Biji
Kopi.
Dalam proses penggilingan pengupasan biji kopi masih terdapat biji kopi
yang belum terkupas kulitnya. Dalam proses penggilingan pengupasan biji kopi,
Mesin Pengupas Biji Kopi mampu mengupas biji kopi dengan volume 8 kg tiap 1
menit dengan butiran biji kopi utuh (tidak pecah).
The aim of this Final Project Report are: first, to find out the types of
materials used in the making of mill shaft on Coffee bean peeler; second, to find
out the machine and equipment used in the production process of mill shaft on
Coffee bean peeler; third, to find out the production process of mill shaft on
Coffee bean peeler; and fourth, to find out the duration needed in the production
process of mill shaft on Coffee bean peeler.
In the making of mill shaft of coffee seed, the writer used some methods.
The first method is identifying the sketch. A good sketch is a sketch which can
give the information about the product that will be done so it can be understood.
The second method is identifying the material, in the making of mill shaft of the
used material which is mild steel. The third method is by identifying the tools and
machine used such as saw machine and its equipment, lathe machine and its
equipments, milling machine and its equipments, lathe tool, center drill, turning
center, mill knife, caliper, steel ruler, and plastic hammer. The fourth method is
identifying the procedure by doing the mill shaft on the Coffee bean peeler. The
fifth method is implementing the process of mill shaft making. The sixth method
is doing performance test on Coffee bean peeler.
In the process of coffee peeling, there are still some coffee bean’s
membranes. In the process of coffee bean peeling, Coffee Bean Peeler Machine
can peel coffee beans with the volume of 8 kg every 1 minute and with the intact
or unbroken coffee beans.
