ABSTRAK
DINOTO: Keefektifan Manajemen Program Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP)
Matematika Tingkat SMA di Kabupaten Banyumas. Tesis. Yogyakarta: Program

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mengetahui tingkat keefektivan manajemen program
Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Matematika pada tingkat Sekolah Menengah
Atas (SMA) di Kabupaten Banyumas. (2) mengungkapkan dan menganalisis bagaimana guru
matematika SMA di Kabupaten Banyumas dalam melakukan PBM di kelas.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif evaluatif yang bertujuan memberi gambaran yang
ada dalam lingkup program MGMP yang akan dievaluasi. Untuk itu teknik analisis data yang
digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Teknik deskriptif ini untuk memberikan gambaran
terhadap data yang diperoleh dengan persentase.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) kefektivan program MGMP Matematika SMA
Kabupaten Banyumas menunjukkan hasil yang baik namun pelaksanaan program MGMP
matematika SMA di Kabupaten Banyumas masih ada masalah karena masih banyak faktor
lain untuk menentukan keberhasilan program MGMP matematika SMA Kabupaten
Banyumas yang tidak bisa diungkap dalam penelitian ini sehingga peran dari masing-masing
sekolah serta Dinas Pendidikan setempat sangatlah diperlukan. (2) keterampilan guru
Matematika SMA Kabupaten Banyumas dalam melakukan KBM di kelas menunjukkan hasil
yang efektif (baik) tetapi masih perlu diteliti tentang bagaimana output pembelajaran yang
bisa dilihat melalui evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik dengan meneliti nilai input dan output
siswa.

This study aims to (1) investigate the level of effectiveness of the program Subject
Matter Teachers Forum (SMTF) for Mathematics at the Senior High School (SHS) level in
Banyumas Regency,and (2) investigate and analyze how SHS Mathematics Teachers in
(MGMPs) Banyumas Regency,implement teaching and learningactivities in the classroom..
This was a qualitative descriptive evaluation study aiming to provide a description of the
scope of the program of the SMTF to be evaluated.The evaluation model was the CIPPmodel,
consisting of context ,input,process,and product.The research subject included the head of
K3S, mathematics teachers,and SHS student in Banyumas Regency. The data analysis
technique was the descriptive analysis technique.This technique was to provide a description
of the collected data in percentage.
The results of the study are as follows. (1) The evaluation of the effectiveness of the
program of the SMTF for mathematics in SHS in Banyumas Regency showed good results
but does not show that in the implementation there are no problem because there are many
other factors affect the success of the program and these cannot be revealed in this study so
that the roles of eachschool and the Office of Education are needed. (2) The results of the
evaluation of the skills of SHS mathematics teachers in Banyumas Regency in
implementing teaching and learning activities in the classroom are good but still need further
investigation on how learning outputs can be revealed through and evaluation of students’
learning outcomes.
