Donald Trump dalam MBM Detik dan Gatra: Studi Komparasi Analisis
Pembingkaian Terhadap Kehadiran Ketua dan Wakil Ketua DPR Setya Novanto
dan Fadli Zon di Konferensi Pers Kampanye Donald Trump dalam MBM Detik
edisi 14-20 September 2015 dan Gatra edisi 10-16 September 2015 Menggunakan
Model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Pembimbing utama Dr. Hj.
Nuryah Asri Sjafirah, S.Sos., M.Si dan Pembimbing Pendamping Efi Fadilah,
S.Sos., M. Pd. Program Studi Jurnalistik, Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas
Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Sumedang.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bingkai yang dibuat dalam
laporan utama MBM Detik dan Gatra mengenai kehadiran pemimpin DPR di
konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump. Peneliti menggunakan metode analisis
pembingkaian model Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Detik menggunakan struktur sintaksis untuk
menjelaskan latar belakang di balik pertemuan pemimpin DPR dengan Donald
Trump, sedangkan Gatra menjelaskan bahwa pemimpin DPR telah melanggar
etika karena hadir di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump. Hasil dari struktur
skrip Detik adalah Detik banyak menggunakan unsur what, who, dan how,
sedangkan Gatra banyak menggunakan unsur what dan why. Hasil dari struktur
tematik Detik adalah Detik menggunakan tema utama pertemuan pemimpin DPR
dengan Donald Trump, sementara tema utama Gatra adalah kehadiran pemimpin
DPR di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump. Hasil Retoris Detik dan Gatra
adalah sama-sama menggunakan kata “skandal” untuk menggambarkan kehadiran
pemimpin DPR di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump.
Simpulan penelitian ini, struktur sintaksis Detik dan Gatra cenderung
menuliskan fakta yang memperlihatkan pemimpin DPR melakukan kesalahan
dengan melakukan pertemuan dengan Donald Trump dan hadir di konferensi pers
kampanye Donald Trump, namunDetik memberitakan hal ini dengan
komprehensif dan proporsional. Simpulan skrip adalah Detik menekankan cerita
di balik pertemuan pemimpin DPR dengan Donald Trump, sedangkan Gatra
menonjolkan kritikan yang timbul terkait kehadiran pemimpin DPR di konferensi
pers kampanye Donald Trump. Simpulan tematik dan retoris Detik dan Gatra
adalah sama-sama memperlihatkan bahwa pemimpin DPR bersalah karena
kehadiran mereka di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump.
Peneliti menyarankan agar Detik dan Gatra menggunakan unsur berita
yang lengkap agar pembaca bisa mendapatkan informasi lebih lengkap. Selain itu
peneliti juga menyarankan agar Gatra proporsional dalam menyajikan berita.

Report of the Leaders of the House of Representative Attendance in Donald Trump’s
Presidential Campaign Press Conference in Detik and Gatra Weekly News Magazine: A
Comparative Framing Analysis Study about the Attendance of the Chairman and Vice
Chairman of the House Setya Novanto and Fadli Zon in Donald Trump’s Presidential
Campaign Press Conference in the 14-20 September 2015 Edition of Detik and the 10-16
September 2015 Edition of Gatra Using Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki’s Model.
The main adviser is Dr. Hj. Nuryah Asri Sjafirah, S.Sos., MT and the associate adviser is
Efi Fadilah, S.Sos., M.Pd. Department of Journalism Studies, Faculty of Communication
Sciences, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor, Sumedang.
The purpose of this research is to determine the framing made in the headlines in
Detik and Gatra about the attendance of the leaders of the House in Trump’s presidential
campaign press conference. This research uses Pan and Kosicki’s model of framing
analysis method.
This research shows Detik used syntaxes structure to explain the story behind the
meeting between the leaders of the House and Donald Trump, while Gatra explained that
the leaders of the House have violated ethics for their presence in his press conference.
The result of the script structure is Detik used many what, who, and how elements, while
Gatra used many what and why elements. The result of the thematic structure is Detik
used the meetings between the leaders of the House with Trump as main theme, while
Gatra’s main theme is the attendance of the leaders of the House in Trump’s campaign
press conference. Both Detik and Gatra rhetoric result shows that both used the word
“scandal” to describe the attendance of the leaders of the House in Donald Trump’s
press conference.
The conclusion of this research is, the syntaxes structure of both Detik and Gatra
tend to write the facts showing the leaders of the House made mistakes by meeting
Donald Trump and attended the press conference, but Detik reported the story
comprehensively and proportionally. The conclusion of the script is Detik is focused on
the background of the meeting between the leaders of the House and Trump, while Gatra
focused the critics that risen regarding the leaders of the House attendance in his press
conference. The conclusion of the thematic and rhetoric is both Detik and Gatra showed
that the leaders of the House are wrong because they attended Trump’s press conference.
The researcher is advising Detik and Gatra to use a more complete news
elements so the readers can get a more comprehensive news. Moreover, the researcher is
also advising for Gatra to present a more proportional report.

tematik Detik adalah Detik menggunakan tema utama pertemuan pemimpin DPR
dengan Donald Trump, sementara tema utama Gatra adalah kehadiran pemimpin
DPR di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump. Hasil Retoris Detik dan Gatra
adalah sama-sama menggunakan kata “skandal” untuk menggambarkan kehadiran
pemimpin DPR di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump.

di balik pertemuan pemimpin DPR dengan Donald Trump, sedangkan Gatra
menonjolkan kritikan yang timbul terkait kehadiran pemimpin DPR di konferensi
pers kampanye Donald Trump. Simpulan tematik dan retoris Detik dan Gatra
adalah sama-sama memperlihatkan bahwa pemimpin DPR bersalah karena
kehadiran mereka di konferensi pers kampanye Donald Trump.
Peneliti menyarankan agar Detik dan Gatra menggunakan unsur berita
yang lengkap agar pembaca bisa mendapatkan informasi lebih lengkap. Selain itu
peneliti juga menyarankan agar Gatra proporsional dalam menyajikan berita.
