: Menarche dan pubertas sangat dipengaruhi oleh lemak
tubuh. BMI merupakan salah satu cara pengukuran lemak tubuh yang sering
digunakan.
: Ingin mengetahui apakah BMI tinggi mempercepat
usia menarche.
: Penelitian ini bersifat survei analitik, dilakukan pada subjek
penelitian sebanyak 106 orang yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu remaja
putri dengan BMI normal (18,5,22,9 kg/m²) sebanyak 53 orang dan BMI tinggi
(≥23 kg/m²) sebanyak 53 orang. Pada kedua kelompok tersebut dilakukan
penghitungan BMI dan pencatatan usia menarche. Analisis data menggunakan uji
t tidak berpasangan dengan α = 5%.
: Pada kelompok BMI normal didapatkan rentang BMI 18,5,22,4
kg/m² dengan rerata usia menarche sebesar 11,70 tahun (SD=0.596). Pada
kelompok BMI tinggi didapatkan rentang BMI 23,1,35,9 kg/m² dengan rerata usia
menarche sebesar 10,38 tahun. Dari uji t tidak berpasangan didapatkan usia
menarche pada BMI tinggi sebesar 10,38 tahun lebih kecil daripada usia
menarche pada BMI normal sebesar 11,70 tahun (p < 0,01).

! "# : The aim of this study is to know the impact of high BMI to the
menarche’s age.
: The study is using survey analysis method, the number of
research’s subjects is 108 people, which is devided in two groups, the first group
is girl with normal BMI (18,5&22,9) which around 54 people and the other group
with high BMI (≥23) around 54 people. Data taken from each girl in both of the
groups were body weight, height, and the date of menarche. The survey analysis
used independent t&test. Data analysis was using independent t&test with α = 5%.
: The range BMI of normal group is 18,5&22,4 kg/m², with the mean
age of menarche was around 11,70 years old. For the high BMI group, the range
was around 23,1&35,9 with the mean age of was 10,38 years old. From the
independent t&test found that the menarche’s age of BMI is high around 10,38
years old which is younger compare to the menarche’s age of normal BMI that’s
