KEANEKARAGAMAN IKAN DI SUNGAI SILANG
KECAMATAN BAKTIRAJA KABUPATEN HUMBANG
HASUNDUTAN
ABSTRAK

Keanekaragaman ikan di Sungai Silang, kecamatan Baktiraja, kabupaten
Humbang Hasundutan telah diteliti pada Mei 2016. Penentuan titik lokasi
penelitian menggunakan metode “Purposive Sampling”. Tujuh spesies ikan yang
diperoleh dari lokasi pengamatan diklasifikasikan ke dalam 2 ordo (Perciformes,
Cypriniformes). Keanekaragaman tertinggi ditemukan pada stasiun 4 dengan nilai
1,398 ind/m2 dan terendah pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 1,076 ind/m2. Indeks
keanekaragaman terbesar ditemukan pada stasiun 4 dengan nilai 0,718, sementara
terendah ditemukan pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai 0,0553. Suhu dan padatan terlarut
(TDS) berkorelasi sangat kuat terhadap keanekaragaman ikan.

THE DIVERSITY OF FISH IN SILANG RIVER SUBDISTRICT
OF BAKTIRAJA DISTRICT OF HUMBANG HASUNDUTAN

ABSTRACT

The diversity of fish in Silang river, subdistrict of Baktiraja district of Humbang
Hasundutan has been observed in Mei 2016. Determination of the research station
by using “Purposive Sampling Methode”. Seven genera of fishes, classifying into
two ordo (Perciformes, Cypriniformes) are recorded from the study area. The
highest diversity is found four location with the number 1,398 ind/m2 and the
lowest two is found at the last location with the number 1,076 ind/m2. The lowest
diversity is recorded from four location with the number 0,718, while the lowest is
found in the two location with the number 0,553. Temperature and Total
Suspended Solid (TDS) are very strong correlated to the diversity of fishes.
