Food Scisflce and Technology, 'we are very pleased to invite your students to participate in the 2nd Faod
Prcduct Development Competition (FPDC). The competition will be held &om June to September 2016.
Food Product Developrnent Competition (FPDC), formerly knoxa as National Paper Student
Corrrpetition $.{SPC), is a competition aiined for under"graduates (S1) and vocational (D3) students in
Southeast Asian reglon. The purpose of this competition is to gather and stimulate creative innovation
&om students of various disciplines, particularly in the field of food manufacture based on iadigenous
ingredients of their own region.
The 2nd FPDC has a theme "Indigenous Ingredients-based Product Development to Advance in
ASEAN Economic Communif". The competition consists of three stages, abstract selectiorl paper
selection, and fiaal presentation. The whole process will be evaluated by a panel of expert judges from
various institutions. The prototype should be displayed during Food lngredient Asia (FL4) Conference
and Expa olganized b5. UBM.
Thus, this letter is created to invite your students of various disciplines, particularly in the field of
