  Abstrak

  Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat seperti saat ini dapat mempermudah bagi para pengusaha untuk mendapatkan informasi dan data-data yang dibutuhkan dari perusahaan tersebut. Data dan informasi tersebut haruslah lengkap dan akurat untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional sebuah perusahaan. Tujuan skripsi ini adalah merancang dan membuat aplikasi MIS Support System berbasis web bagi perusahaan untuk membantu penanganan masalah-masalah yang terjadi pada user, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan inventory dan mengontrol barang inventory. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis dengan melakukan survei pada sistem yang sedang berjalan dan melakukan analisis terhadapnya, mengumpulkan informasi melalui wawancara dan kuisioner, dan melalui studi kepustakaan. Sementara metode perancangan yang dilakukan menggunakan perancangan OOAD dengan pemodelan menggunakan UML. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat memberikan layanan dan informasi mengenai

  

inventory yang sedang dipakai ataupun yang berada di gudang, mendukung dan

  memudahkan perusahaan dalam mengontrol arus inventory, dan membantu menangani masalah yang dialami oleh user. Jadi, dengan adanya rancangan aplikasi tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam memaksimalkan kinerja technical support dalam menjalani fungsinya sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja operasional perusahaan.
